But, since just 5 minutes ago I FINALLY have a RUby cooking on the island. LOVE!!! SO, hang in there everyone. It's possible. Edit: And congrats to araziza and everyone else succeeding.
You are giving me too much credit Aly! Some of the information came from Dragonvale Wiki (another great source I might add), especially the levels. I only remembered the farm upgrade at level 10 It goes to show how addicting this game really is though, considering how much we all can remember!

Thanks for the answers, I've added a few people from this thread who had their GC name in their sig, wow you have a lot of dragons! I've just reached level 9 and have sent the first pair of dragons off for a romantic time in the breeding cave, so hopefully I will have another dragon soon... When I open the game, there's a screen talking about two new dragons, Firework and Evergreen, is there any chance of me getting the firework one by the 20th, or will I not be high enough level?
You may be at a high enough level to get it, but you need an air dragon and a Fire dragon to breed it. You can get the air dragon by breeding a water and fire dragon together. Hope that helps! Oh, and I think you need to be level 14 for the water dragon to be available.

Wow, Aiera! You were right- there are Rubys hiding within all the Fireworks! I actually found one before the 11th hr this time. Wishing breeding success to everyone who still needs a Ruby!

They must really love those fireworks! Congrats on your Ruby! @Dmdaily: Will do! And everyone can just call me Aiera or Ai. @Foxy: Aren't there 3 Fridays that land on the 13th this year? One was on January, then another one in April, and finally this month (Happy early b-day to you and Rattler by the way!). Also, my dad just realized that these Fridays are separated with 3 months in between them!
We stayed in Dresher/Ft Washington this time & Melrose two week ago (with friends) so just a little south of you! Small world! I am starting to fall in love with Philly. Where I'm from in Vegas, trees are an anomaly & fireflies would make you think you were hallucinating! Seriously thought I was when I was walking in the park near the Jersey shore river. I kept seeing sparks and thought I must be dizzy until my daughter spoke up. All I thought was "you see them too?!" Haha, learned they are called lightning bugs. Delightful little creatures! I also thought the bullfrogs were somebody's donkey. Amazed at how dark the whole place gets at night. Anyways, love your town & the people (especially the ones who from looking at me, know I'm not from there) Also..... Finally got a RUBY! Was using two pairs consecutively until I realized I had a long lost scorch named Loki hiding in my breeding cave. So try mixing up your pairs after a few tries! Good luck everyone! Four kids to go to help get their rubies. Sheesh definitely needing some ruby luck!
Heeheeheee...... Put them in the cave and there they go again. Ruby number three in the breeding cave, number two in the hatchery, and number one on the island!
Fantastico! Aww Aly, that's just so cool to hear you have a Ruby (and so early too) hehe. Really happy for ya Congrats to everyone who has theirs too....too many to individually name. I have my Ruby now too seems like Forges and Coppers like me this time....nice longish timers...yuk!
