Got my original rainbow with crystal/blue fire. That combo has a high long-time fail probability. Dragonvale Wiki would list the best combos to try. I think love/cold can get you one as well.
I was lucky and got my second Pearl in at the last minute. I got firework on second try bluefire/blazing and my most exciting news of all....I have been trying on and off for a rainbow and finally got one! Now to try for evergreen, forge and plasma, the only ones I'm missing...oh and ruby I was trying to send you a gem each day Alyjens, but I've been really sick for the past few days and was ignoring the games on my phone.
Haven't tried for Fireworks yet, Girlpower. Will be awhile since both caves are tied up with Pearl #2 & #3!!!!! Would never have believed it! Welcome, ButterflyFan! So sorry you missed out on Emerald...it's just maddening that some people couldn't even get one. Grrr... But glad you got a Pearl and a 3 week vacation I'm so jealous- Hooked, glad you're back & feeling better!
Caz, you were sick, too? So sorry! Hope you're feeling better. Congrats on your second Pearl and Fireworks with a Rainbow as icing on the cake! What a nice run of luck! Thanks so much Caz for the gems! Thanks to every one of my generous friends as well. If it wasn't for all of you, I don't think I would have gotten my Pearl. Used every last one to speed thru fails in the last couple days.
Dragon vale.net is suggesting Chrome plus either lava, fire or flower for the Ruby, first time fail with lava so far Here we go again, good luck everyone!
Oh Aly, Aly, Aly.....words fail me! What awesome news my friend, totally didn't expect this, blown away, but in a really good way. Just wanted to remind you of the fireworks dragon cos not sure if it will be gone from July 4, so maybe once these two have finished you could use one cave to get 1 - 2 fireworks and the other for Ruby? Got mine straight away back to back with plain old fire/air. Evergreen isnt limited, so no pressure for that one (phew) your adrenaline must be continually pumping through your veins the last 4 weeks

Thanks! The vacation was fun! I can't really complain about the emerald though, because I got all of the other limited time dragons until my unlucky streak in May.

I got 2 or 3 Rainbows as Pearl fails .. hatched and sold 2 as I already have a bumper crop of them. Felt sooo weird to sell them as it took me months to get the first one! Cold/Love combo is a good rainbow producer. Got my Evergreens back to back with Plant/Cold both 15. Fireworks Fire/Air both 15. Mid morning 7/1 in Midwest US - no Ruby yet so I'm leaving both my caves open in anticipation. I'm on a mini vacay - visiting family - thankfully there's wifi.
I think you do the happy bunny dance better than me now foxy!!!! But I totally agree, THREE! WOW WEE! Congratulations Ay! Boing boing boing! Let's hope the ruby is not quite so hard eh? I got 2 fireworks and 2 evergreens very easily, so really hope that's not my luck all used up when I need it for my birthstone! Keep checking the market, no ruby yet. Tapping fingers with impatience
Ruby hunting Ive been reading a site I randomly found. People there are talking of using chrome with forge or chrome with quake. Guess we will have to wait and see!
