no emerald here from the day it was announced til the day it left I was double breeding for it and had zero luck, it's the only dragon I don't have .... 20 pearls won't makeup the 1 loss of emerald but I'll just have to keep grinding. pm me your gc account ill add u up. wishing u and everyone else luck in getting the newest dragons
@ Rattler.....LOL, too funny...well probably not for your wife oops Looks like its gonna be very competitive in your house but so far you are winning nicely....hehe, if you keep this up you may end up sharing the dog kennel (if you have a dog & kennel of course).....gonna be interesting to see how this journey plays out
Got solstice first go with lv 15 blazing and lv 15 mud in the EBC. also, I f*+king hate the new pearl egg. I loved the shiny white one..hopefully they will do the shiny white egg for another gem dragon instead.. Maybe for opal or diamond but probably not.The diamond egg is going to be so gorgeous. I can imagine it right now. I don't blame them for taking it away though..the edges just didn't look right. It looked sloppy and nothing in DV is sloppy so they had to remove it. halfway to ruby's arrival.yayz. New deco is pretty nice too. Wonder when the dune dragon will be officially announced.probably very soon since they just released the new sun dragon to represent summer solace and the dune dragon also sort of represents the same..like the hot Arabian dessert sort of vibe
Dune dragon coming? Uh oh I'd better give up on a second Pearl and go after some of these new dragons. I'm falling behind! BS certainly stepped up their game. I just got a 24 hr timer with blazing and mud. Is that the solstice? I thought it was 23.5 or do they just round up??
Amsterdam- yes It will say speed up for 24 gems... but you have to look closely at the timer, it will say 23:30:00. The 24 fooled me at first I thought - darn! a crystal! But I don't think you can get a crystal (24) with blazing/mud. Right?
Look at the time closely, it may be 23 hours and 30 minutes - if you look at the gems to hatch it will show 24 gems. You may have it because you do not have the other elements needed for Crystal and Forge.
Good response - hope everyone gets a Solstice this week. We should get an announcement screen from BFS today telling us about the Solstice dragon. Their last couple announcement screens have been coming out the day after the dragon appears. Should be around 1-2 weeks like the other recent limited/rare dragons. Glad it was not a one day only for this dragon!
Dv flyerz Hello DV Friends, in between waiting for my Solstice egg to hatch and jumping between islandZ 1 (think everything is completed) and 2 (going up happiness levels, waiting to build more mansions, main building level 8, marble pit, broken idol, etc.) I downloaded a new game this morning, Pocket Planes, and created a Flight Crew called "DV FLYERZ". It may not be for everyone but about an hour in my first impression is it's fun building airports, scheduling flights, moving cargo and people around to different places. I don't think there is as much content yet as the other gameZ we love but it has potential. The tutorial is a bit choppy, background music is lacking, but you can choose to build your beginning airport on the different continents around the world and then work towards growing your airport and flights domestic and internationally. Not sure how the Flight Crew thing works yet but I started it, other friends from here can enter the Flight Crew name and then in the background I think we compete "joined together" with others in our crew. Hi, TexasTed. I tried pocket planes, but simply couldn't get past the ugly pixelated graphics. I don't know why people still think that they look cool. Also there is another game coming by the same Devs- pocket trains, which is the carbon copy of this one. Nimblebit dipped in my eyes, frankly. Just my 2c.
With Solstice dragon the egg looks better than the dragon itself. BS again used low rez textures for some reason. It is especially visible on the horns. You don't even have to zoom in close to see pixelation. Flames look great but overall it is not as "grand" as the sun dragon. I can't say I am totally disappointed. More like underwhelmed.
Dragonvale just announced on Facebook that the solstice is around until June 27 and will be back again for the winter solstice. They also said the best time to breed them is the actual day of the solstice. Would that be June 20 or 21st?
I looked it up and it will be June 20. The winter solstice is December 21. So far I've had about 7 fails. Going to try a different combination. Good to know that the odds seem likely to increase on the actual day.
Okay...just got my solstice with blazing and clover (in that order) in my EBC. (Didn't really pay attention to the levels, but I believe they are both over 10.) Now I can go back to trying for a second pearl.
