Got Pearl on third try, probably BF being nice after having so much trouble with Emerald. Seaweed (11)/ Snow (11) right after I switched sides. Will try for second to display plus Rainbow is a "failure" and I have been trying for my second Rainbow over 100 times. Good Luck everyone.
Well BF isn't being nice to me. I can see a month of breeding Fog and Swamp dragons since those seem to be my outcomes with Seaweed and Snow.
Have you tried doing an occasional swap? With Snow in first place? That was the combo for me I finally got my first Forge....brought in a new fire at level 4 + level 10 metal
Anyone else been getting some Game Center screwiness? Kept popping up and asking me if I wanted to sync with my account instead of just happening in the background. Then it came up and asked if I wanted to keep an existing level 19 profile or replace it with the current level 2. Lucky it was me and not my 5 year old. If he'd okayed the level 2 I'd have been sunk.
Congrats dean Was coming on here to ask if anyone has had any luck yet...... I'm currently on 8th fail (got both caves solely focused on pearl) so haven't even attempted either copper or forge yet. one combo pair is at lvl 10 in one cave and the other cave has both lvl 11. I just reversed the order of both sets of combos to seaweed/snow resulting in them both failing still.....thankfully we have a FULL month this time.....
All fails here too. I have both caves also focused on Pearl, after breeding a second Seaweed and Snow to use. I think I may only have two weeks for this one too, cause I'm away for a fortnight next week and may not have access to 3G (Roaming charges are unreal!). It may go down to the wire again lol. I hatched one forge and the second one is being bred. I like the forge, but it seems that some dragons are higher resolution than others. For examle Metal dragon has sharp lines along its body while copper and forge look slightly pixelated/blurred when you zoom in. This inconsistency is somewhat annoying. I have got a pearl brewing in EBI. Was a bit of a surprise as it was after only 3 days of failures with one pair. I have now hatched a second snow, so going to try to hatch as many pearls as I can before the month is out as soon as the second forge egg pops out. Good luck guys.
yeah, on my iPad 3 i can see high resolution dragons and buildings beside low res ones too - would be nice to have all high res (with so many players and beeing always in the top paying charts of Germany and US)
I used lv 15 snow and lv 15 seaweed in the EBC Took about 8 goes. Only had 1 snow so I couldn't breed in both caves..have another snow now so I can start trying for another pearl in the NBC. got forge and copper both with firefly and metal first try was a copper, second forge. Wouldn't usually bother with forge or copper but I didn't have a second snow to try for another pearl, and I had a snow incubating so I thought I'd wait for it to hatch, turned out to be a bloody fog dragon..still guess it's cool

LOL Andy.....not again!!!! You made me think though......so for the next 10 mths we shouldnt have any annual leave etc unless we have free access to wifi cause BS have us on a very short rope now....(I'm just kidding here) but it's not something I even thought about......until now. Well my current successful strategy seems to be the 'it's almost midnight and I really should be asleep but I'll just quickly go and breed a couple more dragons.' strategy. This method has now netted me my first emerald dragon, as well as a pearl and a forge (both on first go too mind you!) This afternoon I went back to trying for the current dragon which I think is now on the EBI after 3 or 4 attempts (this time round that is!) I am now debating whether or not try for another pearl, or my 2nd Panlong. Ooh, think I still need copper too. I really wish there was a quick and easy way of working out which dragons you've managed to breed so far, and which ones you still need to get. With so many new dragons over the last month or so I've managed to lose track of what I've got. cheers, Dlstar.

it doesn't matter on which side you chose the dragons you can change that everytime if it gives you a better feeling ;-)
Just got a 30 hour breeding time after 5 fails (all 8 hour with one 6 hour). Used level 10 dragons in the EBI. Used Snow left / Seaweed right for 1st 3 attempts ... Switched them for the 4th .. Back again for 5th. 6th try Snow/Seaweed finally worked ... Oh! And I got lucky on my 2nd try for Forge ... Got an egg in the nursery! Sending Dragon luck vibes to all!
I got my pearl firt try the day it came out... Snow and seaweed both lvl 10 in EBC. No luck on a second though. I am not complaining though. I had such a hard time with emerald it was nice to get this one first try.
And good luck to you Andy. I've lost count of how many pearl fails I have...usually 8 or 9 hour ones. Using both caves with a different order in each and I'll probably keep that going for a while even though I've been so busy on these gem dragons that I haven't tried for plasma, current, forge, or copper yet.
I never heard of such a thing happening. Do you have multiple devices? Or had deleted the app, and reloaded it for some reason? I hope it still is not doing such a thing...
