Wouldn't say it's the only reliable combo as some have got it with air/tree and air/quake? (I think) BUT the air/mud combo is the least amount of fail down time apparently, and theres only 3 combos with the longest being the fog. All I got was fog & mud.....no sandstorm, but didn't use gems either as I don't have enough to waste anyway. I did this combo also for 16 straight fails, then took a break, now on about the same amount of fails for second rainbow. If you figure anything else out, please post your results. Good luck in the meantime
Will this game EVER let us play beyond level 20? Visit me and see my "DONE" sign. I am only breeding Mud and Willow for Sandstorm/Rainbow. Other than that, I am only continuing with this dead-end game to give a gem per day to my Son, NathanCollins.
I started playing on sunday and i'm now at Level 12 (after 4 days) my dragons are: cold earth fire flower lava lightning moss plant poison my eggs are (i hope): mountain scorch storm i breed this night a "quake" if it will happen i only bought 50 gems for expanding the nursery to 3 its a very addictive game for some people ;-)

i just read that the bone was a limited offer. now i'm very frustrated because i know now that i cannot get all and thats the aim of such a game. i wrote an email to backflip because it wasn't told in the game.
Definitely not much to do when you get to level 20 with all dragons and islands full to the brim...... Ho hum

The only email address I found was [email protected] There was no info on their news area for updates to dragonvale etc.
Got my rainbow on first try with blazing and swamp combo tried all others with no luck but got it first try with that combo hope it helps.
I just got my Sandstorm dragon. I too did air & mud combo dozens of times with no luck...so just on a whim, I did air & moss both level 10...and got my sandstorm!

Oohhh I'm gonna have to try this, been trying Air/Mud all week and nothing so far. Edit: Grrrrrr bloody 12 hour wait for a moss dragon now... Back to Air/Mud.
Cold dragon My cold dragon egg finaly hatched!!!! I bred it with a level 10 storm and a level 9 fire, first try!

Hallo, i wonder why can't people breed bone dragon, i started this game 3days ago and i had 1 bone dragon.. Mybe it had some update or something to explain that.. Fyi : bone dragon sucks but it seems rare
From what I understand bone dragon was a special dragon for Halloween. I don't think you can breed it now. Maybe another forum friend can shed more light for you. Narakai
