I think I got it!! I was in a hurry earlier and stuck a pair back in as soon as they were done breeding. I thought I had checked the timer and it was a fail. I just checked to see how much longer it had and the timer is at 29hrs left. I think I finally got it! I put lichen 15/crystal 12 in the regular BC in that order. I will let you know for sure tomorrow!

Phew!!!! Finally got a 31hour wait ahead of me about about 30 attempts of Crystal and Lichen in both breeding cave and on breeding island. Have the two dragons (Crystal on left, LV10 and Lichen on right, LV10) both doing the jiggy jiggy as I type. Been the hardest one to get so far.

I have to say these last 3 dragons where a pain to get and emerald was the worst. I do not mind supporting the game and buying gems but this is pretty bad. everyone has had a hard time getting this dragon and we have nothing to do but the shrines there ugly and it is boring I would love to be able to put more dragons out and I have no desire to do anymore with my islands. I have other games there is always something to do but Dv is giving us nothing but breeding times. I have been in this game since January I wish I could have gotten the Christmas dragon. It was fun had things to do now at max 30 can not get any more habitats and hiding alot of dragons. I wish everyone lost of luck getting the emerald dragon fingers crossed. I see some are having problems in the game mine is not running slow have not noticed it then again I do not visit it as many times a day like I use to. Ok, so I just sent Emerald #3 to the incubator. I immediately put the same pair back on the EBI (same order) and, voila, Emerald #4. I bred these two probably 25 times Crystal/Lichen with nothing but fails. Since switching the order I think I'm on 4 Emeralds on 6 tries.
Took one for the team so there's one less 48 hour fail out there Great comments everyone. I was "cracking" up yesterday reading the posts, watching my two rainbow eggs sit quietly in the nursery. Took 3 1/2 months to get my first Rainbow and now they are dropping like flies. Wishing for another 31 hours or at least some short fails. Have a 24 hour egg and was feeling lucky this morning, put a Lichen/Crystal back in the EBI after giving them a couple hour break and they over achieved and gave me another 48 hour. No more breaks for this pair. Congrats to those getting one or more Emeralds, and hoping others still trying get lucky this weekend! Like everyone else I am looking forward to an update, for now will enjoy playing other gameZ!
That's craazy weird! I just sped up two fails in the reg cave, and got another 24. It's now at the point where I dread picking a new pair and checking the timer. But I don't want to quit.

It wasn't all disappointment yesterday, I did get the gold Metal and Lightning shrines, and a good red tan since the UK is having an amazing run of HOT weather!! Uh oh...just hatched my first emerald and now I can see you can put the emerald in any segment of the gemstone island..meaning you can have up to 12 emerald dragons..dammit . Immense stress now
Who says throwing a tantrum never gets you anything! Hubby checking in on my dragons for me this morning whilst I did pack lunches, school bag etc, chucked in crystal and lichen in both EBC and regular cave and voila both 31 hr timers. Am going to get him to breed all my difficult dragons from now on, he obviously has the gift!!!! I would be gutted it wasn't me who got them if I wasn't soooooooo chuffed to have 2!!!!!!
May 3rd. Aaaannd, lo & behold, FINALLY got a 31 hr timer this morning! So hang in there AndyPandy and anyone else who is losing hope or tantruming (is that even a word?) over the PIA Emerald. Hey congrats on getting not 1, but 2 gold shrines! Quite a feat that is!

I think it's so cute that so many spouses & kids play this together. My family just roll their eyes at me. They think I'm nuts. <sigh> We're all hooked on the HBO series Game of Thrones which has a character with dragon lineage. She refers to herself as "Mother of Dragons". So that's what my family is calling me, "Mother of dragons"!
