I'm a bit slow, a display option for what? Im still trying to save up for the last hibernation cave upgrade and gem tree, it will be this time next year before I'll have enough to spend 600 for the BC. Let alone the EBI!! Lol
Well now that we have Gem Dragons gems should come easier. A level 10 Emerald earns a gem a week and the gem island can hold 12 dragons so at some point you could be earning 12 gems a week plus what you earn from the Colleseum.
You can now display the eggs instead of hatching them. They can be a decoration. I would really love to know how to breed the Emerald dragon. I don't think I can make enough gems to buy one.
Crystal/Lichen have been confirmed for the Emerald at DV Wikia. I've tried three times each with 6 hr fails.
Update I like the update, 8-10 fails using Lichen and Crystal, used gems to speed up, and then got shut down for the night with a 48 hour fail and then a 14 hour tree fail. Looking forward to trying again tomorrow. Good luck everyone!
Oooh. That stinks. I went ahead and used gems so I could try again. Another fail but only 30 mins though. All my incubation slots are full though so I'm going to bed. Still can't get a Current either.
Tried crystal/lichen and lichen/crystal combos about10 times speeding up but now stuck with a 24 hr fail and 48 hr fail. I will try again tomorrow =/
Are they out of their minds ? The math on the high-level food requirements was shaky enough, but 600/1200 gems for speeding up breeding ? And that's a cool convenient new upgrade ? Yeowch.... Tho the gem island is kinda pretty.... F
I got a 48 hour "fail" too! Darn it, those gemstone dragons are so pretty!! Why did Backflip have to tempt us so badly? >.<

I turned dv back on, couldn't stay away, and the new tips at the bottom said you can now win gems in the colosseum. That is gonna help a lot!

What's new there? 3 Currents. 0 Plasma (now on hold). 2 Butterflies! .. 6 hr Emerald fails with Crystal/Lichen aren't too bad but 24, 48 .. man I really hate using Crystal, hope we don't havta use it every month!

Still can't get this one Jaz....please let me know when you strike gold too. How cool that you also got two Plasmas back to back with lightning / rust!! I really like the new emerald dragon....haha, one of my favorite colours....not keen on using crystal as one of the elements though....those 24/48 hr timers really hurt
