Congrats on your bloom...at the very least you can sell the rares for good $$ or put them in the hibernation cave for a rainy day. I like to keep 2 of each so that I can always breed another if needed or wanted sometime in the future. Still kicking myself for accidentally selling my second Reindeer.
I wish we could swap dragons. I have recently bred my 2nd rainbow. However, I have bred 9 sun dragons (without ever breeding two suns) and I STILL HAVE ONLY 1 MOON DRAGON. Rage engaged. I wish we could trade a moon for a sun Every combination of lightning and cold seems to end up in a sun for me.
Confused I can't figure out how to send people multiple gems, or exchange coins for gems. I have the I phone I don't know if it matters or not. Please helppppp
Whoa, 9 suns!!!! That's amazing, but not good when wanting moons instead. I would gladly take one of your suns and give you a moon, if only we could I guess you have tried what some believe...... Breed during the day for a sun and at night for a moon.....I have no idea if this really works but some wiki posters certainly believe it does It's weird how some of us tend to get one of the two much easier, for you suns, for me moons.......at leat now you have your second rainbow, your third will be a certainty
First of all, do you have the dragonsai tree? If not, you can only send 3 gems per 24 hrs to friends.... Once you open the DV app, down the bottom, click on friends....this should show Your list of friends, then click on gift to send them a gem....you will either have the choice of 6 per 24 hrs if you have the dragonsai gem tree or 3. I havent checked lately but thought you could only exchange gems for coins and not the other way around? This is done through DV market button....

I have to try the night breeding idea. I got two suns simultaneously going for bloom (Storm/Plant combo) I got 3 using BlueFire/Crystal, 1 using Firefly/Cold when I was trying to get frostfire and then another 2 using love/Cold. Can't remember how I got the others. I also got my solitary moon using BlueFire/Crystal but I tried that again recently and got 7 crystals in 10 breeds so I gave up on that. I actually bred my first rainbow with leap year to get my 2nd rainbow so I got pretty lucky with that. I'm trying to store all my dragons in the hibernation cave to make way for as many rainbows as I can so I can start going for gold shrines. I need to upgrade the cave first as it only holds a measly 25 dragons. I wonder what people classify as 'night' for breeding moon dragons. I'm pretty sure the two suns I got going for bloom dragons were bred at around 9pm. I might trying staying up one night when I have gems to burn and see if I can get that magic 48 hours. Anyway, good luck breeding your 2nd sun. Try some of the combo's I mentioned if you haven't already as they all worked for me.
Sun Moon ideas Guess I lucked out - got a Sun and a Moon in the quest for Bloom (both my second). However, it took quite a lot of tries to get the 2 Blooms. Plant/Storm or Storm/Plant produced both my Sun#2 and Moon#2. My first Sun was by Cold/Love. My first Moon was by Blue Fire/Storm. Maybe this helps someone? EDIT: also got a Rainbow with Cold/Love.
@ Noob382...LOL, I also got my second rainbow with LY & Rainbow.....was very happy cause had been trying for quiet some time to get rainbow # 2. Regarding the day/night theme for sun/moon....this is why I am not convinced about this theory cause we are all different time zones..... In saying that, I do know I bred my sun before midday and my moon was around 11.30 pm Melbourne Oz time....coincidence? Who knows Thanks for sharing your combos .....right now, I am just trying to breed dragons for coins to grow treat food to feed to lvl 15...early days but phew this is gonna be a real long slog at my snail pace, but nothin' else to do except rearrange my Islands....er um...think I will just keep with what I am doing hehe @ Foxy......thanks for your combos too, I am sure they will help others. Is there anyone on the forum that still doesn't have one bloom? Hope not
Sick... After a week of breeding Iron dragons and feeding to level 10 to activate the shrine. I bred 41 Iron, fed them to level 10 and then realised that I've already got the gold Earth shrine, I was meant to do Magnetic!! Glad I realised before I started feeding to level 15, could have been a costly mistake! Time to sell them all and start again
Aw bummer, Andy.. But grats on having gold shrines! It'll be quite awhile before I get there... But I'm working on growing my Rainbow herd to pay for feeding. Is the Bloom a good one to grow to 15, like the Pan? - because it covers different elements than Panlong. I'm still working on activating my silver Cold shrine, .. only a few dragons away. Saw araziza's hatchery screencap (quite nice) and realized I was a few hours from the same sweet sight. I tried to upload a screencap from my pad, via Photobucket app, but the .jpg size is too large.. according to TA. Guess there's a downside to having the new iPad. Does anyone know how to change the .jpg size for an upload, without going to a computer?

Now back to those lucrative breedings to get up to lvl 15! @Araziza An impressive sight, major congrats on such a beautiful and productive nursery! @Noob While trying for my 2nd bloom I got two 48hr timers, I used gems to speed the first only to get another Sun, so I am now in the same boat you... 1 moon v. 8 suns
Ok, probably a dumb question, but if I need to activate Cold and Metal shrines, is it most efficient to breed Mine dragons? It's just that I hate the 10 hr wait. .. not to mention the 48 for new Rainbows. Eek. I'm so impatient.
Possibly if you only want ti do one egg at a time, otherwise an iron dragon is only 4hr and storm 5hr so cold a cold and metal boost once every 5hrs if you breed simultaneously or every 9hrs if you alternate them. Depends whether you have time to reset the breeding cave every 4/5hrs!
Yippee.....second bloom done and dusted sooo happy for you cause you have had some patience testing timers on the way.....I can imagine how relieved you must be feeling, those blooms will be more precious now So nice to have the pressure off isn't it? Well done!
Good points! Yeah, think I'll go back to Iron & Storm. It gives me more to do... although it costs more to feed 2 to level 10 than 1. Hmm, guess I'll mix it up along the way. Thanks for helping me think it out. And HUGE grats on your second Bloom! Well done!
I feel so bad for people that don't get certain dragons after trying for so long. I have been extremely lucky when getting all my dragons. Except for now, I've been trying for some time to get a bluefire and frostfire. I currently have a lot of fireflies/scorch in my nursery :/
