Bone Dragon = Frustration! Well after 6 failed attempts for this bone dragon, I gave up and used most of my saved gems to buy the silly thing. Main reason was after 18 days of back to back failed attempts of second Blue Fire & Rainbow, then 2 days of failed Bone Dragon as well........ Just needed to GET SOMETHING! Biggest frustration with this one, as already mentioned, you don't know whether it's going to be a bone or another darn Lava until the egg has hatched....so with a TOTAL of 20 hrs of wait and see, no gems used to speed up the process along the way, plus my other 18 days of hatch and sell failures, I was over it Now on second failed attempt at Sandstorm using air/mud combo. Who knows how long this one will take, then it's back to Rainbow and Blue Fire, but then there's the rumored Ghost to consider before it's too late?
So what combo and lvls did you use? My suggestion for Blue Fire / Rainbow..... Do like the rest of us, keep on trying
I have been able to do the same thing. I was thinking about reporting the bug to their devs. Not even sure if they are all going through. So I've noticed that a lot of the breeding charts out there seem to be incomplete. Anyone have a complete X+Y=Z chart?
Hey Odincore, The problem with a breeding chart is that, for some dragons, it's not as simple as X+Y=Z. A few of the dragons (blue fire, sandstorm, bone, rainbow, etc...) are also based on luck. As long as you're using the right combination of elements, you will eventually get the one you're trying for. It's kind of like playing a slot machine... you just keep pulling the handle and eventually you'll hit 7-7-7! Took me several tries with fire/earth to get a bone dragon, but after several tries ending in lava dragons, the same breeding pair eventually gave me a bone dragon! Have a look in the market under the eggs. Each dragon will have a combo of 2 elements (except the rainbow of course, since it can happen with pretty much any combo with LOTS of luck). I'm fairly certain that any combo could result in a rainbow dragon, it's just a matter of blind luck. There are a bunch of people around here that have used different combinations successfully. The combination that worked for me was firefly/seaweed, but it took me many many MANY tries before I got it. My advice for rainbow? Patience!!!!

Does anyone know if you use gems to speed thru breeding, does it affect your outcome on the rarer dragons? On my fourth try for a Bone and letting this pair take their time. It's so encouraging to hear of the success some people are having.

Nope, never said you did need level 10's - that's just what I had and what I used to get my rainbow. Alteredfrog's sheet said a lot of people had had success breeding the firefly/seaweed combo at level 10, so I thought I'd try that. I do hear that many people have had success breeding lower levels and getting rainbows too, so whatever works. It's all random anyway.

Ghost dragon Apparently to get the ghost dragon, you're supposed to breed Snow+Storm the week before Halloween. Also it's supposed to look like a rainbow, but it isn't one. I find this kinda rediculous though. Any comments? Taitai1999
Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong topic (Pretty sure it isn't since it is a stratergies topic) I found this glitch today! I had already given three gems out, and i went to a friends park. I hit the friends icon, and it said 'three free gifts to give today' so I scrolled down and gave another three gems to people! I kept doing it! I managed to give gems to 11 people in one day! Is anyone else having this? Anyway, I am going to breed for a rainbow soon will post a successful combination result for you guys!
Smiles Yeah. That glitch was posted a couple posts back. I just learned that today too so it's nothing personal. Good luck with your rainbow though. It only works with specific friends. Not quite sure why but I have two different friends that it works on and it doesn't work for anyone else. I'm sure the developers will be patching it soon anyways so don't get too bummed if it doesn't work for you. I successfully bred a Blue Fire today! Pretty stoked that it worked out. Only took three tries with a Fire and a Storm in the breeding cave together.
