Finally got my Clover on the 5th try using flower(7)/moss(7). Yeah!!!! Second Clover on the 6th try using the same combo of flower/moss. Not to bad since my first 4 were 10hr, 1hr, 12hr and 30min. After reading the last few post I consider myself very lucky. Now to try for the second Clover. Trying to balance coins/gems and earn XP and learn the game. Was sad when I realized I missed the LYD by a few days but may have been a blessing in disguise. Only have to wait 4 more years. Thank you everyone for your tips and suggestions. This is a great thread with nice people.
Sorry you had to spend to gems to, but glad I'm not the only one out there who struggled with this one!!!! I've been trying to breed a second clover using the one I bought, NO LUCK THERE EITHER!!!! I really can't buy another one.......................can I????
Finally got the clover!!! I wanted to surprise my son before he returned home on Sunday, so I bought the epic breeding cave for him. When he returned home, he put a level 7 plant and level 7 moss in it and got a 7 hour timer!! He is so happy! I had also used gems to buy him one, but he really likes the thrill of breeding them and seeing what he gets. He started screaming "we did it!" when he got the 7 hour timer. That made all the previous tries worth it.
Clover #2 Hey guys, got my second Clover with the same pair as last time: Poison 10 x Moss 14. This would be my 3rd breeding attempt for Clover. The second attempt was with Clover & Moss since I'd heard that may work, but didn't for me. I think that one's a Tree (12 hr)**. So just sayin, maybe it'll work for someone. Sorry to hear of all the failed Clover attempts, I can sympathize .. still trying for a Sun, Panlong, and blasted Sandstorm.* *EDIT: And I still need Frostfire, how could I forget that one?! **Correction: 12 hour is a Moss.
Welcome to the island! I can't remember what I used for Moss, (probably simply Earth x Plant, both 10's) do remember it took me a bunch of tries too. My daughter still has had no luck with flower/moss and she has been breeding round the clock! However, I can confirm that I got a second clover with clover/moss first try. (I also tried clover/plant and ended up with a tree).

another moon...hopefully So I have been too busy working on things like rainbow, frostfire, panlong, love, leap year, and clover to even have a chance to try for my second moon... and now that I seem to have everything else I thought I would try for fun and I nearly fell off my chair when I got a 48hr timer first go with flower + storm in the epic cave! If it is my longed for moon, I am not sure if I should retire and call myself complete or keep going and declare myself the dragon goddess All I can say for sure is that perseverance pays off...I have played everyday since Sept...maybe it is not perseverance but actually insanity. I do feel quite blessed to have so much luck in such a short time, I slogged it out for months with nothing. Thanks for listening
That's what I was using and got 3 trees. Then I used a tree and earth and got it . Waiting for it to hatch so I can try for a clover. Thanks for the suggestions and the link .

Just got my 2nd clover. So happy right now!!! Got both with plant/moss and about 50 failures. Good luck to everyone still going for clover =P
My quest for a clover is over! In a fit of annoyance of constant 10 & 12 hour waiting times, I purchased one...I feel dirty!
Finally a Clover! After many failed attemps & long waits I finally got my 7 hour breeding. I used Moss (L) & Poison (R) in the EBC. Now to relax a little before I try for my second Clover.
Thank you, thank you, THANK you. Now I only have to LABOUR thru level 24 to start expanding again (I've got a VERY full hibernation cave!). There doesn't seem to be any quick way of getting thru a level without purchasing gems (for speeding up incubation and hatching the otherwise time-consuming 'specials' for maximum experience points).
I am SO envious. Care to tell us how? I have bred a Rainbow (and a LY), and 2 Moons, and 2 Suns, but just CAN'T get a Panlong, a Sandstorm, or a second Rainbow. Any suggestions WELCOME!!!
For rainbow,sun,moon I used firefly and snow. It seem to be the same combo for all three just keep breeding what ever worked for you for your first rare, Panlong I purchasedI tried blazing and mud many times and fog and lava could not get it.Sandstorm air and quake worked for me.Good Luck
