Just sealed my fate Just blew my chances for a second LP dragon. Thought I would get a head start on my second Rainbow with the slight chance of getting a second LY Dragon (claimed to have worked on wiki) so bred my LY/Rainbow....= Rainbow....yippee anyway Used 3 of my tiny gem stash to speed up the last of my 4th failed love/water haha, read your post Hooked congrats and pondered for a moment...bit worried about using a crystal cause of 24 hr fail....anyway dug a newbie out of hibernation and bred my Frostfire/Crystal..... Whammo.....24 hrs! Didn't listen to that little inner voice did I No matter, as I said before.... I am on cloud nine to even have a LY. Thats got to be good enough and it is.
Read the post I just did....you and I were thinking along almost identical lines.... We will love our LY to bits won't we....extra special now. Do you need any rare double ups...if its a sun...can I have it please if you don't want it...haha, if only BS would let us. Oh well, at least you have a single LY Dragon buddy. Let's keep out fingers crossed for those that don't have their one yet....can't be much longer to go before times up now surely? Hope they are kind enough to extend it for those who still need their first
I'm really surprised when I see the posts of all the players who can't seem to get a LYD. I assumed it was purposely set up by Backflip so that the first one was easy and the second not so easy. It would make sense given the limited timeframe they have given us to breed one. I got my first on my second or third try. My daughter got one on her very first try and my son took a few more tries but it wasn't more than five or six. All of them were done using Scorch/Mud combos. I know this because I was the one working all of the iOS devices (my son and daughter are 8 and 6.) As I posted earlier, because the first was so easy I assumed a second would be easy but it took forever and over 200 gems (got it with Love/Water.) Anyway, I feel bad for anyone who couldn't get a LYD at all. I know it is constantly posted in these forums that everything is "random" but it really seems that for most getting the first LYD was not a that difficult so I am surprised by those that really struggled with it.
I had tried that without success. I did just check now and it is back. Maybe there was a temporary outage? I hope TIMELESS has the same luck I did. Thanks, girlpower!
@ GP if your looking for a sun, I bred one by using level four firefly and level twelve snow. By the way where did your LPY go? @ hooked, alyjens, timeless, and jtfields way to go! Hooked, does your daughter need gems? If so I would be glad to send her one. Congrats to everyone that was able to breed one, or two LPY dragons. I hope that those of you that haven't yet will still have the opportunity to do so. If anyone is in need of gems I'm happy to help, I hate to see anyone not get one.
@MaLiesa You are so sweet...she has used almost all her gems with failed attempts and now doesn't have enough to rush this last one...we have 1 hr left in our time zone...she will happily return gems to those that send to her... GCID skippyjon4
so sorry my combo didn't work for you...I think maybe each game has its magic combos for rares...like your bluey combo did not work for me! And it helps with 'fresh' dragons... ps I'll give you a sun egg if you give me a moon

Lol ok, I saw it now, when I visited earlier I looked everywhere and could not see that little bugger! I got worried you might have accidentally hit sell instead of putting it in the habitat.

Ahh....think I can solve the mystery. I had read that if you put your LY dragon in the hibernation cave when you try to breed another one, it would increase your chances cause it's not in a habitat? It's only till you hit the breed button....wow your timing must have been perfect cause it was only a matter of seconds that it was hiding. Accidentally selling this one would be heart breaking, waiting another four years....to me that would be worse than not getting one to start with, eek! Good to know you are keeping an eye on my babies though hehe
Whew....well I'm relieved...I sat there thinking about what in the world could have happened. I even double checked to make sure it was your island i was looking at, and contemplated the breeding cave but immediately dismissed the idea because I know you are proud of that little one!
Well Well I still have the leap year dragon in the market what is that about. I got flagged again last night that it would be leaving on the 1st of March. Got to wonder
She did...Thank You! And she needed it...but still had no luck last night. However, she did try again this morning and got it!!!! She is soooo happy. I am sooo happy.
Leap year dragon still available I noticed this morning that it is still in the market and my daughter finally got hers this morning!!!! So keep trying....perhaps BFS IS listening?!
Hey guys, For anyone that still hasnt got one Ive bred 3 of them using crystal and blue fire and 1 using firefly and scorch. For some reason I keep getting them while I'm trying to get sun/moon/rainbow.
Ok so I'm getting tired of spending gems trying to speed up fails and have gotten two 48hr timers trying for LYD I guess that this is payback for getting my first on the first try Hope that my efforts pay of today or at least before it goes away for four years a Any tips please help!!!
Alright folks today is obviously the 2nd of March so if anyone gets an LYD today please document it so the other folks can keep trying. I for one am going to keep trying for my 2nd until it's gone from the market! Happy breeding!
