In addition, the strategies posted on the "official" dragonvale pages, are false information, don't know why people keep saying you need level 10.
Hi DV friends. Was reading up on the history of BACKFLIP Studios. The following quote from there: " The game took a team of 10 (plus Farrior) about six months to make. The game includes 50 collectible dragons that are all animated in different ways. It includes a coliseum where dragons can compete for prizes, with an original soundtrack." So it will be quite awhile before we have ALL the dragons. Perhaps there is a GHOST DRAGON???. Cheers , Karin1946
Yes, perhaps, but no confirmation on anything by anyone reputable that I have read thus far. 50 collectible dragons? What does that mean? does that include adult vs. regular dragons? Does it mean after we get 50, that's it? How are we to hold 50 different dragons with a cap at level 20 when we can't get more islands/habitats? We can hol 50 dragons alright, just that each of our parks will have almost the same composition at that point. So I suppose,w e will see what happens, but tons of questions, very little answer atm =)
From what I'm seeing, ghost dragon can be bred with a Snow/Storm combo. I've got something cooking in my nursery now, but once that's done, I'll try this out and will let you know. I'm not seeing any pics just yet, but it seems to be an actual dragon. ETA: Also, we can only start trying for a ghost the week before Halloween, and it apparently looks like a ghost Rainbow. Hope it's not as difficult to get one of those!
According to alteredfrog's spreadsheet, you don't have to have level 10 dragons to breed anything. Once they're adult, which I think is level 7, you can breed.
None of those information have been confirmed. As in, the description of what it looks like. Yes it appears on a guide. But the SAME guide wrote some faulty information regarding how to breed a rainbow dragon. levels is NOT a requirement for you to get a rainbow dragon. That includes mating dragon levels and your level. I bred the first one with 7/9.
When are they going to add levels above 20? Those of us at level 20 are wondering why we continue to play this game. What are we going to do with our dragon hoard of millions of coins? I just hatched a Bone dragon. Next goal, Sandstrom. Ultimate goal, Rainbow.
I have sent you a couple of friends requests a while ago, no response, so should I try adding you again as per your post above? Not asking for gems as I have my set regulars as I'm sure you do too. Having no luck so far with bone dragon, 4 lavas with fire/earth and reversing them. How did you get yours......order, levels please? Yes, the bone is the skeletal twin of the Scorch....did read that recently. No second rainbow after 12 straight days of back to back trying, and now can't get bone so far either, oh same went for a second Blue Fire after 4 days of back to back, no go! The way my lucks running atm, I don't think I will even attempt Sandstorm All up, it's been around 20+ days of back to back failures......surely it's gotta turn around soon
Ok listen up peopls if u want a rainbow dragon ( I have 2 ) u breed seaweed and firefly (lvl 10) up to 50 times. Believe me, it took me 2 hours to test that theory.
I have had a great breeding day today! I got a bone, blue fire, and sandstorm all today! Rainbow hatched yesterday! great breeding week! now i guess ill start for a 2nd rainbow! Add Sindarkk to check my park out! ill send gems!
I can't remember exactly, but it was fire and earth. The same combo has also gotten me a few lava dragons, so no 100% chance of bone. All I can say is good luck.
