Yeah, I want a second sandstorm and two more blue fires. IT IS SO FREAKING HARD JUST TO GET A DRAGON THAT HAS OPPOSITE ELEMENTS!!! Now I feel better... =)

It is VERY, VERY helpful! I am using it every time my Breeding Cave is free. Before I found this page, I was getting too many of the same kinds of low-level hybrids. Now I am breeding the dragons I want to have, filling the Goals, and getting XP. It's great!
I have them both only two dragons in both. I need some luck. I have not been able to get panlong,sandstorm,sun,or moon. All I have gotten lately is mud,quake,firefly.i do not think we can even buy the reindeer dragon. Any other breeding ideas.
A real mixed bag of opinions on this one kasm, some believe it does, others that already have the habitat, but still no dragon dont believe it does.... Here's a good example of both sides of the coin...I've had my second rainbow habitat for weeks and weeks but alas it still sits idle waiting.....I got both 2nd, 3rd moons without their habitats cause I wasn't trying for those anyway. There are many theories...leave it up to you to search for them if you want. I think everything about this game(apart from the very, very basic dragons) is purely random based and even with the correct breeding elements, we all know there ain't no guarantee you will get whatcha hoped for....that has been the experience of many long time DV players. In summary, I would do anything I could to help my chances, especially for the rares and even not so rares that can be very difficult to breed. If in doubt, get the habitat and the flag too...it certainly won't hinder your odds. Good luck and happy DV breeding
So incase anyone was wondering, new hibernating cave holds 25 with no upgrades, 50 with one (50 gems) and 100 with 2nd upgrade (another 100 gems). No more upgrades past that.
Success!!!!! (Finally) @Dando, I've joined you in shaking off the evil curse of breeding fails. Ive been hatching new Muds & Blazings, leveling up to random levels & placing in both love caves constantly. Tonight Blazing 4 & Mud 6 was the magical combo for my Pan!!!! I'm embarrassed to say that I yelled out loud when I got the 36 hr timer. Oops, almost woke up hubby (It was 2:30 am) @girlpower, you are right that venting actually helps. Thanks for being such a great cheerleader for us all! . Now on to Frosty & my Sandstorm #2.
Fantastico WHOO HOO! I am sooo happy for ya AJ, now we can move forward together again...told you I would be waiting in the wings..... Haha, another example of what a wee dummy spit can achieve Now regarding Sandstorm....you gotta try MaLiesas theory. Lvl 10 air/lvl 4 mud (I used a brand new mud) You know that's gotta be a good one if also worked for me first time. Let us know how you go pls.... For those of you who don't know, adding on to what darren said, the hibernation cave costs 3,141,592 coins and the image of the cave doesn't change when you upgrade it the first or second time.
Well done Rattler, great to hear you got your Panlong in the making Good to see you took the time to read through posts and try other members combos, makes the thread worthwhile and Something to keep you occupied while trying for your Pan hehe. You mentioned you got your Frostfire (much easier)....can you recall what you used ie combos, levels? Any help would be appreciated thanks and happy breeding success.

Man I hate the long 24 hour breeding times. Since it's the only breeding area I have, I have nothing else to do but wait for the 24 hours and check in every so often to collect gold and treats. Wonder what I've ended up with from my BlueFire / Crystal combo...
Sooo, does panlong count towards 4 of the elements as far as the shrines are concerned? Leaderboards changed a lot today, I was overtaken by somebody by over 10 billion in 1 day lol. They seem to have bred about 20 panlongs. Thats what made me wonder about the shrines.
Easy answer....another crystal as its the only 24 hr time....that's the downside of this combo unfortunately....are you trying for moon/sun or rainbow?
