Yasha, I had the same thing happen. Tried a fog/lava as others have suggested & got a 48 hr wait. It's probably a Sun which I don't even have room for. Plus, its putting a crimp in my breeding endeavors! Grrrrr! @Girlpower! A second Sandstorm?! You are really on a roll now, my friend Congrats to you! OMG! Now I'm getting my pairs/timers mixed up- the Mud/Blazing pair has the 48 hr timer (the other pair is 10 hrs) THIS GAME IS MAKING ME LOSE MY MIND!!!!!!!!!
Poor you!!!! You can rant and rave here as much as you like, thats what we're here for, to share joys as well as frustrations! I wish you luck with all future breeding attempts and will send you regular gems to help speed up the process!! Re cooking while playing - my iPad and the food are a suitable distance appart!! Nothing touches the iPad except me!!!!
A little more for cskotek Hopefully cskotek has fixed that problem with buying gems from the in-app market, but my daughter (Lego-My-Mego) wanted to add her two cents. So here's what she said: "I had the same problem. What I did to fix it was I unmarked the box next to the app and re-synced it. This removed the app from my ipad2. Once gone, I then went to the app store (on my ipad2) and reinstalled it. This corrected my problem. Hope that helps." There you go cskotek .. lemme know if you need anymore help spending your money.
I just breed fire and ice and got my second iceberg. I thank it is random one of my friends has all of them except for sun I can not get panlong,sun,moon,reindeer or frostfire. I think it is luck and that is it I got rainbow with fog and lava only once though. Has not let me do it again. It seems to be random. I would like to breed sun 2000 gems that is a lot of money my husband would never go for that one. Good luck everyone any new pairs to breed to get sun and moon and panlong.
I quit......... Seems a lot is happening out there. Girlpower finally on a roll, MaLiesa having a dragon named after here, Cskotek being lured in into throwing away cash and kids teaching us how to undo all that, people getting fifth moons or icebergs.... I just can't keep up! So I decided to quit my job or otherwise I'd have to choose between playing DV and this forum.... Seriously? Not! Thanx for all the great responses to my son! You people gave him an few extra smiles yesterday and today. And that means a lot to me. And yes: we'll mail BFS with his ideas (thnx for the tip!). We're close to level 25 and dying for an extra island and habitats so we can start re-decorating. No idea why it became such a mess but feels like home sometimes..... My personal island is still basically the same as in the beginning, when I tried to have 1 of everything up there (little did I know soo much would still follow). I like the happy chaos of it, but would like to try my hands on theme's and styles. We got now in the hatchery moon - panlong and rainbow. Hoping to add the sun real soon just for the sake of having 4 rares on display for a day. But second sun is as far away as quitting my job haha! Well, we had our streak of luck recently so I should not complain. At least not for a day or two before I start pulling my grey haires again! I'm cool, calm and collected and will not go AAAAAAAARRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! (oops..............................) I quit.....never.
Have you tried your fog and lav the other way around yet for rainbow? That trick worked for us with blazing and tree for the first rainbow and then tree and blazing for the second rainbow. Sorry to say but agree with your husband: 2000 gems is an afwul lot and next time you know it, you also give in with other rares. But it doesn't satisfy you as much as finally doing it yourself! So keep up! Don't give in! And most of all: make sure your husband doesn't get addicted also or gems will be flying out the door for sure.....

I've been reading everyone's posts about how they tried different ways to get panlong and suns, but I've tried different levels switching position and can't seem to catch a break. Got the frostfire and moon on second and third try but everything since has been a pain. Went through the same thing with rainbow it it it still didn't take this long and I have been using both breeding caves. Hope it gets better so send me some luck, really need it
Glitch? Sorry to say, but the only way to get a reindeer now is if BFS decide to add dragon trading However, for my sun, strangely enough, I got it with water and storm in the normal breeding cave while trying for an iceberg! I got my moon with fire and storm and my panlon with either fog and bone or mud and blazing (nit exactly sure which, sorry!) Really wishing you luck! And speaking of that Panlong, it hatched just a few minutes ago! Strangely enough though, despite not having ever had a rainbow dragon or Frostfire, I got the every last one achievement! Oh well, I'm not one to argue with a good thing!
Ok, so just posted then went to see what had finished breeding and another blazing, and had hatched my other blazing and decided to try my two brand new mud and blazing (lvl4) and a 36 hr timer no way
Hooray! Just got my second Panlong in breeding! Mud and Blazing both lv. 10 in the EBI/EBC! Now time to breed those to get a baby! Can also finally get to work on my Frostfire!
You are such a hoot Archer ROFLMAO, you are starting to worry me cause I am starting to search for your posts knowing you will provide my daily laugh.....haha, no pressure or anything. You are very welcome regarding responses for you little man, so pleased us lot could put a wee smile on his dial and melt your heart at the same time. I think BFS will hopefully welcome his ideas and they have emailed me back twice in the past, although didn't answer my last email I haven't been into DV today, been out all day...yawn. One thing that's really bothering me is only having the first four names listed when receiving gems! I keep getting and others and I don't know who the others are!!!!! I am very conscientious about gifting everyone back and do write all names down, but for the last 5-6 days this has happened and I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM MISSING. I am really sorry to those that I may miss, pls pm me if you don't get one back within a couple of days cause I promise it's not intentional. Archer, if you do email BFS, can you add this to issue to the suggestion list for me please? They really do need to address this especially since the Dragonsai tree was released. Better go and hatch the lovely new MaLiesa, once I figure out where she can live.

I got a 14 hr timer yesterday...mountain GRR, no Frosty on the horizon yet, so back to the love caves we go for another round or 20. What a pain that both your caves are out of action till the 10 hrs is up, times like these makes a third love cave a good idea huh I am waiting in the wings for you...okay? xo
So, after that initial rant of all my failures, i went back to my park and bred water+ice in both my caves. That was just before i went to bed. When i woke up, i checked them again and, lo and behold, i had two iceburgs. Kinda funny how, whenever i post my troubles on here, i seem to get whatever I'm searching for the next day..... Now, in the words of girlpower, on to the other bleep bleeps.....
