Sun/Moon Dragons So i put Blue fire left and crystal right (both L10) and have another 48 hour incubation. Will be interesting to see what I get.. Will keep you posted
rainbow dragon i got the rainbow dragon with (firefly + seaweed) on my i pod touch after about 5 trys, but my boyfriend can not make it on his i phone i dont see why it should make a difference but he still doesnt have one it will take a while jus keep trying
Rare dragon breakthrough!! Hey guys, my gc name is "mikoee" I just updated my dragonvale app with the new update and saw in my goals, that If I breed a storm dragon It will complete one of my goals, so anyways I go to my breeding cave and click "lighting" dragon left and "cold" dragon right, both the standard element not hybrids and get a 48 hour incubation time?! So I've finally answered everyone's question, you can get rare type dragons from non hybrid dragons!! Only thing left to find out now is what one it is, I'll keep you guys updated!!
I got my blue fire by using L10 fire on the left and L10 hybrid cold on the right.. Such as mountain, storm, ice or snow (as fire and cold are not compatible)
Name SkinNBoneS, I have two sun dragons one was from quake and flower, second was from crystal and blue fire (whoever said the moon dragon comes out from that combination is wrong) and now I did swamp and lava and got a 1 day and 23 hrs so I'm crossing fingers it's the moon one. I believe it's random... You can get any of those dragons with random combinations so stop with the whole seaweed firefly... Cause it's random
You get the deer from Cold and earth/plant Any of these combinations will give u a chance to get the deer, it just takes several tries, some people get it first shot, and some People get it on the 10th shot like me. Sandstorm is a b****h, still didn't get any luck cause the breeding time is just so long.... And rainbow just no luck... One day!! Finally after 2 months of tries I got the white egg. Gl everyone
Both moon and sun come out of the blue fire and crystal combination, I first got my sun and later my moon with my first blue fire and my first crystal. My brother on the other hand has been trying for alot longer than me but he still hasn't got either from that combo, it's just each individual persons luck, so just because you didn't have any success with that strategy doesn't mean you should condemn it, tainting the strategy in the eyes of newer players Also the seaweed/firefly combo may not work for you, and so far not for me, but you still shouldn't display your individual failures as applicable to everyone Anyway congrats on the 48 hr timer
I would know a thing:i have Two rainbow dragon and i have put them in the epic breeding island and i got 1day23hours59minutes...so My question is:it is Only another rainbow dragon egg or maybe is a moon or Sun dragon?i hope Sun dragon....if u want to see My Two rainbow dragon flying in the breeding island pelasse add me in game center blackhopes
Straight Answer I've been looking through this forum an I've found more conversations about different successes and failures and anticipation and sad emoticons and strategies on breeding sun and moon dragons than anything straight about rainbow strategies. Can somebody tell me all of the best known strategies for breeding a rainbow dragon, not 'the best' or what worked for you or a friend, as I've said in other posts I believe it's each individual persons luck, so I don't want to limit myself to a single technique. PS please don't post anything about moon or sun dragons, I have both. Guys, I dont like using swamp or seaweed with firefly or scorch, I haven't had luck with that combo, I'm ready to give up on it, I want other methods, I'm sick of firefly, scorch, swamp and seaweed eggs

The method and strategy I was going with in the beginning was the famous ways, the way people posted online. Then out of nowhere indecided to go random and got the sun dragon. So I thought I'll try using one dragon everyone says it worked for them like the (lava) and instead of using seaweed I used swamp... Cause they look alike Lolol.. And it worked

Done, just keep trying, trust me, after you get the rainbow there's not much to Do lol, I'm trying to get the sandstorm, no luck, and moon which is super tough since there's a chance you could get the sun dragon which is frustrating since I have 2 already... 2 questions, what was the combination if you remember to get the sandstorm. And to win gold medal in coliseum do you put the pure breed or you put in a hybrid? Thanks
When I first got my air I needed other air hybrids so I just bred a tree with my air thinking I would get either sandstorm or willow, I got a sandstorm, maybe I was just lucky like that, but I suggest picking an earth hybrid that if it isn't a sandstorm you can sell it for alot, mud with air would yield either sandstorm or fog, which can be sold for 1 mil. I don't know of any winning combinations, just an earth hybrid must be bred with an air. Whenever I enter the coliseum event, I try to put a hybrid, rather than pure, I have noticed with my vale that if I use the same dragon for more than one event I lose more than win, it may be a coincidence, but I try to use a new dragon everytime, and so far it's worked for me.

Rainbow Dragon= Lava + Storm I used a level 10 lava and a level 10 Storm and it worked the first time i tried it.
Ok so for the sandstorm I'm on the right track, just lack of luck. As for the colosseum I was putting pure breeds lol. I'll try hybrids. Thanks for the tip. For your rainbow hunt.. Try swamp and lava like 3 times see of it works. @black hopes I got my two sun dragons one from quake and plant and the other was crystal and blue fire.. Keep trying bud Gl! Ok so... Stevedragonvale... I'm speechless, you were right I just put crystal and blue fire and it gave me a 23hr (24gems to speed it up) I pray it's the moon dragon lol. This comb definitely works!
