Ok I've done more than 5 reccomended combos on this thread and not 1 worked . I did scorch and fog ten times and I keep getting fog or firefly. I've also done mud and storm with the same results. More then 100 expensive gems gone. If anyone has any ideas on special times to breed the dragons if any it would help. Thanks in advanced.

I got it Okay I know it is a stretch but what I would strive for first is the sandstorm dragon. Now the moment I got the Sandstorm Dragon, I leveled it up to a level 10 this takes about 11,000 treats. Then I bred Sandstorm and Storm together and it made me the Rainbow dragon. I'm not sure if this is a fool proof method, but try it anyways. I figured that since it had air, earth, cold, and lightning and some of them are really opposite, that it would work and it did! On a side note, the best way to get a sandstorm is air and mud! Good Luck Y'all
Rainbow Got rainbow pretty early/easily/luckily. At level 14 I bred a mountain with a firefly, both level 7, and got it first try. Lucky I guess. Add me if you want: sbtravers11

I am in the same boat. Have four rainbows now and still no achievement. I did get my level 20 one but still no achievement for breeding dragons to level 10 - most of my dragons are that level now. And ho hum no water competitor achievement despite quite a few water dragons in the competitions. Narakai

Rainbow Dragon Tips I have bred three Rainbow dragons using firefly+swamp, both level 10. I was between level 17 and 19 (currently 20), and only had one rainbow habitat (in other words, you don't need an available habitat). It took a several dozen tries to get three, but prior to that I had tried MANY combinations with zero success, so I think this is a winning combo. One potentially good tip that I got from somoeone else - be aware of your boosts. I had a lightning boost on my breeding island, and until I deleted it, I had no success with ff+swamp, and after deleting, almost immediate success- I assume swamp was negatively affected. I currently have one level 10 Rainbow, one level 1, and one Rainbow egg. Take a look if you like - gamecenter id is snids2000. I don't need any gems but I'll be happy to gift you. Now....any tips on breeding Sandstorms? I need more!!!
I just got my first rainbow dragon with the Scorch/Fog combo on my 2nd try. I had been trying for about 3 weeks with the firefly seaweed but never got it. Add me on game center, I gift daily! NHUSkER23
