My guess is that you already have your maximum number of habitats. You likely need to sell one of your existing habitats or advance to the next level to increase your total number allowed.

hi all i've been playing dragonvale for about a week now and am totaly hooked so much so i have to leave my ipod on charge every evening. i have all the dragon bar the rainbow and the blue fire dragon, please add me steeeeeve!

 

How do I know if that's the case

When you look at purchasing a habitat it has a number in the lower left such as 13/13, which means you already own 13 out of 13 allowed. At the higher levels you are allowed an additional habitat at each level you advance. You need XP to advance. If you're a long way from the next level then I recomend selling one of your current habitats so that you have an open spot for an air habitat.

 

Perhaps it's an electric/water combo

 

in the market in habitats theres a number eg.10/14 if your numbers match like you've got your quota first number is the amount you have the second number is how many you can have

How do I send gifts, and add people from my game center as friends?

 

Go to your game center, and add people with their nickname. Then, restart dragonvlae (close it and reopen). If your friends have accepted your request you'll be able to see and visit them.


Btw, updated my spreadsheet of future gifts, and gifted the three of today. As usual, you can check it on my signature.
