Percentage from Hybrids My guess is that when you breed hybrids, the offspring will come out with a percentage for each possible combo. It is also my assumption that these percentages can be determined through use of a punnet square. I'm in grade 10 in Australia doing biology so I know what it is, but if you don't, what it does is takes the chromosomes that determine certain traits, ie. short or tall. Theses chromosome are given symbols ie. T=Tall t=Short. These will always be capital lowercase pairs. These are then arranged into the punnet square (look it up on google images) and depending on whether the genes are dominant or cause incomplete dominance, the percentage is determined. Let us assume that we are dealing with dominant/recessive genes. Assuming the parents have the chromosomes for TT and tt, the percentages are: Tt for all. All offspring will be tall If then one of their children have kids with another Tt, the percentages will be: TT - 25% Tt - 50% tt - 25% So overall there, 75% chance of being tall Hope this helps through relation to dragon vale breeding
Rainbow? I just bred swamp and scorch dragons and the breeding time is 48 hours - does that mean it will be a rainbow dragon? I think i read somewhere that rainbow equals 48 hours.

Hi Dragonvale friends. You might know this already? You can re-name all your dragons, on the top where their names are. All mine now are named from family members. The really UGLY dragons have names of people I really dislike I am still trying for my rainbow dragon, VERY frustrating. Cheers Karin1946
Breeding Hey, so today I put in a Snow Dragon and a Quake dragon, just to see the results. But instead of getting what I expected, Sonic, I think I got crystal? The breeding time is 24 hours but it doesn't make sense because the Snow Dragon doesnt have any relation to Crystal. Please help with this if you can! P.S both dragons are level 10

DV is getting frustrating!!! AHHH!!! Hey Karin. Since were in the same boat let's try to co-operate. We both haven't gotten a rainbow. I haven't gotten a BlueFire. Not sure about you though. Anyways let's list the combos that we've already tried... say 5-10 times. Then we change. This might not work but it's somethig to do. As you know, I'm stuck looking for the rainbow and the BlueFire dragons so any suggestions will be welcome. I just remodeled the back of my 3rd island. Not sure if it looks nice so plz check. Just because it has nothing to do with snow doesn't mean it's messed. If the breeding time is 24h, yeah, it's probably a crystal. Since Quake is Ground/Lightning and Crystal is Lightning/Ground (ithink) getting a crystal is still possible. Like if quake was the daddy than the baby looked more like the daddy than the mommy.
Rainbow dragon update I got a rainbow dragon from breeding adult storm dragon(lvl10)+adult mud dragon(lvl10) don't believe me add me kdog 5604 I currently still have the egg if kdog 5604 doesn't work try kdog5604 ok
Thanks, Karin re the rainbow info from the last page. I've been trying for the blue fire so I will try your suggestion too FYI for others, swamp lvl 10 and scorch lvl 10 seems to have worked for me for rainbow too.
