The combat system has also been reworked, allowing for one-tap battles as well as more complex play. – The Tension System During battle, you can select 'Psyche Up' to give your next attack some extra oomph! Wow this month just has too many good games... Ahh I'll have to pass on this one. I don't even have space for it!
Anyone knows what is the final install size and how much time is left untill hits the European app store?
Sorry about the lack of detail about the pricing, the larger prices can be very confusing to get right and I'd rather say nothing then mislead people. Anyway, I'd go as far as saying the original is one of my favourite games of all time. Sunk 200+ hours into this on my first playthrough and then started another immediately. If they keep the monster training side of things then it's definitely worth the cost imo.
Sweet baby Jesus! Spacetime can't contain the speed of this instabuy! That said, this is quite expensive and having had a play with the Japanese version the port is honestly not fantastic. It doesn't take advantage of newer hardware and the framerate in particular is pretty grim. BUT, this is one of the finest traditional JRPGs of all time - in fact, perhaps it is the last traditional JRPG well ever see because the huge, epic, slow, turn-based JRPG seems to be a dying breed. Even Square Enix themselves haven't managed to follow this one up. If you're like me and have an empty life and are looking for something to fill it up to the brim with...choose this!
This is a great surprise! Hopefully we see more of those Japanese exclusives pop up. Same here, I remember putting in over 100 hours before beating it... That was a blast.
Aww dang! This has just got to be the most expensive month for me ever re iOS gaming! Record of Agarest War, Battleheart: Legacy, Monster Hunter and now this.
I've never played a Dragon Quest, but, the amount of craziness I've read about every time a new one is released leads me to think it has to be something special. It is a bit pricey but I'll be getting this. Why couldn't this and Battleheart have come out on separate weeks!?
