It's definitely one of the improvement points, at least a swipe anywhere to control the camera would be a nice feature. But definitely not a show-stopper kind of issue.
Need a little help I'm trying to get to the boat going and have the harp, but when I enter the library the Door doesn't appear? I'm missing something. Thanks Len
You have to enter the library at night time, only then the door would appear, because it is the shadow of the window through moonlight. This game is really interesting, you have to pay close attention to every text for clues about side quests or how to advance in the main quest
Ah that was my problem. It was evening when I entered the castle but not night. Wandering around in the castle does not advance time. I had to exit the castle and wander around before night fell. I must say thus is an a maxing game by any standard, and that I can play it flawlessly on my ipad is simply amazing. What ever is next? I can hardly wait....
A month later after release they still haven't updated/fixed the game.Really wanted to buy it but I guess the lazy devs don't deserve my money.
I'm not surprised since they have yet to fix chrono trigger for A7 devices... Edit: scratch that, on June 6 it was fixed. Almost a year later.
It's been out for what 6 months and they 'still' haven't fixed it,It would be understandable if it was a fragmented android phone but on the highest selling flagship phone in the world you can't optimise your game for it the you can't optimise crap.Over that they had the balls to ask 20$ for it,Great job SE great job indeed,no wonder why nobody cares about them anymore. I've mailed them long time ago and they haven't responded with anything meaningful.
What device are you using and what needs fixing? I'm on an iPhone 5S with iOS 7 and haven't had any problems at all.
constant lag and stuttering on 5s as reported by fellow users is my biggest gripe,Youtube videos suggest the same and so do the reviews. It lags on a7 which is a big detractor considering the price,Even after months the devs haven't fixed it,lazy as hell.
I thought it was just made to run at a slower frame rate than other games. My had never lagged. It just consistently runs at what looks like 20fps or so. Hasn't bothered me one bit. And I haven't seen videos of it running faster on A6 devices. I doubt there'll be an update to add more fps. But I'd be happy to be proved wrong I guess. And I'm super excited to get back into Chrono Trigger if that really is fixed!
Ocarina of time ran at 20fps on n64,It's not really intentional at all.The ps2 version runs at a smooth 28-30fps all the time. The devs didn't take the time/effort to make this port work well. They've got their money and now they don't care,It's alright though they won't get money from me either.
Well this isn't the PS2 game. This is a port of that game taken from the Japanese version intended for play on phones and tablets. The expectations for this version's performance shouldn't compare it to the console version. If the PS2 version plays better, have you tried emulating that on your phone? Probably wouldn't play as good.
The only stuttering I've seen is in the opening scene withe eagle flying around. As far as running around the world and during battles it's been smooth.
No lag or crash at all on my ipad 4, the only time it stuttered a bit was at the end of the boat cutscene because of the heavy graphic effects, not to mention my ipad was extremely hot at that time due to long gaming session. After all, this game is well worth my 20$, way more enjoyable than any FF games on the appstore that I've bought (FF3,4,5,6).
Since this game doesn't require fast reflexes so the framerate isn't too much of an issue. Regardless runs pretty smoothly on my 4s (better than what the description implies) but looking at ps2 gameplay, it could be better.
