If you mean the thread, then it's probably because we're all busy playing it! Plus, instead of asking where to find something, we can just check FAQs and guides. But I get more DQ conversing at the Dragon's Den forum, where it's DQ 24/7.
Anybody have this Bradygames strategy guide for the DS version as a pdf file? I just purchased the actual guide off of eBay, but I'd love to not have to tear it apart to scan it in order to put it in my Kindle app. I can't find it anywhere.
DQVIII pulled me into the story and I love the cell shaded 3D graphics. But if you'd prefer the more pixely sprites and 2.5D art style, then I think Shaun would recommend DQV. I'm playing through IV, V, and VI at the moment and I would probably agree that V is the best of the trilogy, but I'm also really loving the uniqueness of IV and it's separate chapters in the beginning. But it depends on the art style you'd prefer. For me, I'd pick DQVIII over any of the others.
From the original play 3 that is clearly the best and the class system is fun to tweak with. DQ 4,5,6 play them all they are fantastic games. Enjoying 6 so far. But if you can play just one DQ 8 is the best to start with its long and has a great story with beautiful graphics. DQ 5 would be second. I bought them all 3,4,5 and 8 were worth it. I'm sure 6 will be on this list as well.

I'm just starting mine! I got V and IV in recent weeks, and snapped up VI last night. I have the rest on watch list for sale notifications. I love TA for that on its own. I am new to the series but loving it completely. Old school SNES gamer here, with special emphasis on 16 bit Squaresoft games.
