Are you really comparing Dragon Quest and Zenonia? Is this for real?

Except a Dragon Quest isn't Zenonia. I doubt anyone will remember the name "Zenonia" after a couple of decades.

Yes just like dragon quest 8. You can save it to the cloud and download it on your ipad or iphone

This is nice though I'd really like to have the ability to place the control pad in centre, left or right rather than having it fixed centre... Would make playing on the iPad a lot nicer.

Also, is every character means to precede his or her speech with "*:" ?

I think the characters name should be where the asterisk shows so this is probably a bug... Is it just me seeing this or is this a universal (or iPad only) issue?

You can. The lower most button with the two arrows changes the position of the control pad.

Forget misspelling "Dragon". I'm going nuts every time I read "organise" items... DELETED.

    Haha, not really.

It really baffles me how iPhones can struggle with PS2 games but can run stuff like Infinity Blade 3 with no trouble; Monster Hunter runs well though. At any rate, I managed to burn myself out on DQ8 enough when it came out originally that it's not something I'd get at this point under the best of circumstances.

Nice review, btw. What are your other two favorite DQ games?

I hope they put more care into the port than they did in the marketing.

    "Dargon Quest"?

Lazy editing is a bad sign.

Yeah, I totally knew that. But my head still takes a second look every time I see it.

This was my favorite DQ game and I'm sorely tempted to buy it for another playthrough but can anyone enlighten me as to the saving system? Is it checkpoint or anywhere?

    Ta.

Smegly - my three favorite DQ games are 5, 4, 3, in that order. I love the whole series, though. DQ2 is the only one I dislike replaying, mostly due to that final slog.

Hard saves at the churches as usual, quick saves almost everywhere else.

Dargon misspelling has been fixed on the US App Store.
