Apparently dialogue is not working on ipad.

You can't speak to people at all. Nothing happens when you go up to people. If you press the speak button you get a stock message which says you don't have any party members to speak with but on the iPhone dialogue appears as soon as you go near a character.

I'll delete and reinstall. Something not right on ipad.

PS : Thanks to help from dhgamer its fixed. The centre button is for dialogue. I bet SE are having a good laugh!

Did a hard reset after reinstall and still can't talk to anyone. No dialogue appears in the ipad version. I'm using iPad Air. Can someone confirm this for ipad please?

Can't play the game as is.

    LMAO!

Does it really play in a small portrait window on iPad? That's beyond lame.

One of the best "Dargon Quest" games.
Highly recommended if you missed out on it before and have even a passing interest in JRPGs. If you've played it you already know what I mean.
Ah, Torneko Taloon. One of the fattest characters in video games to get his own spin off game.

'Some' people actually like older/retro games

Its an old series of games, been going for quite some time, first one was in 1986 and theres been versions on MSX/Gameboy/NES etc. Good old classic series

Dragon Quest games, especially from 4 onward, are fresh in any decade. The mechanics might be a bit traditional, but there's a maturity to the storytelling that few games can match. I don't mean that in the "Rated M For Mature" way, of course. More in the Studio Ghibli way.
