This was my second instabuy last night along with Devious Dungeon 2. Played a couple of runs and upgraded the dragon armor, and it shows visually! The sheer fun of the premise of the game (a dragon riding princess blasting scumbag knights, along with sheep houses and everything else) and the art style sold me.

Having fun on the gameplay so far, although i could use a bit zoomed out camera to not plant face first in lava when on high speed...

ok, after some more playing, i think it could use a bit of easier way to avoid lava lakes. The "frozen blast" spell is a great solution, but it doesn't come when you need it. If the devs are reading, could you let us use it on command with a double tap etc? or make some other tweak? Lava lakes are all too common and can't always be seen coming with the close up camera.

Commanding that Frozen blast would be nice. Double tap won't work because you already double tap while diving twice quickly.

And another dragon upside down! Yay!

Lava was pretty hard for me too, in the beginning, but if you die from lava all the time, try to stay above ground and only dive when you see enemies. It's Basically just dodging the lava.

And for the boss fights, try to stay underground, and jump above ground to attack and immediately stay underground again. Hope this helps. And remember you do need to grind a bit for a better dragon/sword.

yeap, i started doing that, thanks. Though it would be much more enjoyable without the lava stopping you instantly when the game is SO FUN!! i love it and dont regret buying it, if only the lava wasn't such a insta-stopper!

Yeah I understand your opinion. But once you get good in this game, lava isn't really a big issue anymore. You automatically dodge it.

Also, the lava is a nice challenge. I'm afraid that if the lava is removed, it becomes pretty easy. I'm level 20 now and sometimes I beat 2 levels in one run already. Maby you should see it as: easy to play, hard to master?

First off, I've been waiting for this game for quite some time. Loved Aliens Drive Me Crazy and this game seems like it has a similar system. Played the first few levels.

My first impressions are a bit mixed.

On the one hand I really like the gameplay idea, the level system (with at the end of every level a nice boss fight) and the upgrades.

The game immediately started out kinda hard though and I already needed several upgrades to pass through the first few levels. Also sometimes it feels a bit slow.

These things might improve as I progress through the game though. I'll definitely keep playing, hoping I will get as addicted as I was to Aliens Drive Me Crazy. I also think the game will get kinda crazy when you have some upgrades and power-ups. Looking forward to big explosions :)

Not sure if it's my skill, but after level 15 it actually plays easier. Probably because I maxed my dragon and sword. I'm not saying those should be nerfed, but I do say the beginning was too hard. Maby reduce the amount of enemies and lava in the first 5/10 levels.

Also it would be nice if you accelerate faster. For example: when I crash against a hill (because I didn't tap to go through) I go very slowly and I don't really gain any speed. So it would be nice to accelerate faster. The max speed is fine, it's just the acceleration that feels slow.

Nevertheless once you are past level 15 it becomes more and more fun! (It's not as much frustrating as in the beginning because you have more health, so enemy arrows are less 'important')

I can imagine it's much better after you have a lot of upgrades. It's already getting better for me, although still I'm not progressing very fast. I think the coin rewards should be a bit bigger. And I agree with what you say about the beginning being too difficult.

Once you start getting the Black Dragon and the Lord of the Skies dragon it starts to get easier.

And once you know the pattern of the bosses, the boss fights will become the easiest part of beating a level (at least I have no trouble myself with the boss fights.

In level 28, I started with full health (max upgraded) and when I arrived at the boss fight, I had 1 heart remaining. Well, I won that boss fight and didn't lose that 1 remaining heart.

By the way, my new coin highscore: :D

Fabianb and Geertyy, Thx for all the imps. I'm sold on this one. Still, with it being a runner, I feel incomplete without NOEN or E.P. Throwin down some good imps. Either way, I'll DL this in the morn and leave some imps, for whatever it's worth ;/

Oh it's definately worth it chief. Keep in mind that the first few levels can be hard because the difficulty level starts high. After a few upgrades it becomes more fun ;)

Spent far to much of my day playing this.

I have already maxed out armor by lvl 8 and sword 3/5 done.

Maybe a few more upgrades or cosmetics to work for would be nice.

I'm currently at level 10 with maxed out armor. I'm having more and more fun! The start is pretty rough, but after some upgrades it really becomes a lot of fun! I love the Giant Black Dragon power-up. It's really cool to blow things up with it :D
