I'm having quite a lot of fun with this little game. Up to level 17 now, having trouble finding any decent cards but I'm upgrading the ones I do have. The only six star I have at this point is the one given to me after the tutorial. Recruiting throws me a bone once in a great while but I just can't bring myself to buy a 5 dollar shot at the 50 gem recruiting... I've gotten enough enjoyment that I probably will give the devs 5 dollars and just use that for energy pots. It really is a fun/slick game. Do the Solomon (or any other big money) bonus levels pop up very often? Also, I have a card that is stuck. It was protected but now it is not, I cannot sell it nor can I use it for fodder when strengthening other cards. It's just there, occupying space in my deck. Has anybody run into this?
Solomon Mines happens Every Saturday and Sunday. As for your other issue, I've never come across it.... Maybe someone else can comment.
I would be wary about upgrading too many weak cards as this will suck away your cash. Find a shooter if possible and try to get a couple of healers as friends if you don't possess a character with healing as a team skill. You should then be able to breeze through the first two chapters and even the 3rd. Also carful play if you have a shooter can get you through first panzer dragon for a sthelo. Finally - join a guild that lets you get normal membership reasonably cheaply and do the guild war fir the guild points - hopefully they will allow even new-ish players to collect a few thousand guild points in the war - that may get you another 5*. Also complete all the areas in chapter 1 and 2 that will get you two more 4*+ picks. I got lucky and got a Cyclops that way!
You know what, it sure was, I just found out that you can have multiple teams configured and it was selected in one of the other teams... Thanks!
Thanks for the advice, I will stop pumping cash into my two star cards then and save up for upgrading the 4 or better cards. Wish I would've know that before I spent myself down to 50K coins As far as guilds go, it looks like I have to join to see the perks/costs? If so, I guess when I hit lvl 20 today, I'll just go through a bunch on the random match and see what I can find.
cthulufan - another tip is to check if cards will evolve and if so you may want to chose to hold them at L20 as that is the level at which point they can be evolved. I really ought to find somewhere to post a newbie guide.
Thank you, that's another good one, that was starting to get to me; I'm upgrading these things to 20 or beyond and I still can't select them in the evolve list to see what mats I need. Great, more wasted time and effort! I appreciate the insight, if you've got more, I'm listening!
On a topic of this, is there any compendium regarding all the evolution's of this game? Or has the community not developed that far. I have tried searching and didn't find anything yet. :/ Would be rad if we started a monster compendium project, outlining monster evolution paths, materials required, material locations, gold costs. Patterning what days bonuses are on what maps so you know what days to farm X materials for Y evolution. You could start a 'team theory' calculator also. Just some ideas as to how we could put the community in a better direction. Not saying this thread isn't good (because it's probably the best Dragon Era has for a community right now), but there are some good avenues for us to take also. I'd like to spear head such a project, but my web development skills are equal to that of a toddler with crayons.
That's a great start, thanks! ^^ Edit: Ty Kellysugarcane also. At a minimum it has the names and progression.
This game is very addictive but really appreciate if the Energy timer can be removed.. With the energy timer ON, we got to wait for hours or even days for us to play the game again. It is like stopping players who are addicted to the game from playing it. I would prefer to have the game more challenging instead of waiting stupidly for the energy to recharge in order to play again. We purchase Gems usually for the investing on cards instead of energy potion, so don't need to bother about that.
You can argue this all day but it is the essential of online gaming. You want to play all the time. play alone. timer is put there is evil but we also needed it anyway. Some of us have a life outside gaming you know. it is fair to be able to use up all energy in gaming time and get on with our life
I've asked the question a few times already but I will ask again, "Has anyone beat the game already?" Completed all the chapters and beaten all the maps? Anyone?
Any update on the guild wars? It says it will start in 7 days after registering. Please tell me that is a typo. It also still says bahamut.
The description is indeed wrong (will be fixed soon) but the count down is correct. Guild Wars cycle is 4 weeks and that is not likely to change due various factors. However, we will be adding instantiated raid bosses in the next month or two to fill in the gap while Guild Wars is not running.
