Just did a run and yes, it is 35 rounds before the wingman hits now, allowing my big skills to hit once, which makes all the difference in getting some score out of it. This is a good change in the right direction, thanks!
Wow that's incredible! Thanks so much wren! You guys did put together a great game sorry both I and the community came down so hard on the update. We expressed our strong opinions only because we grew to love the guild component so much. I understand that bahumut is supposed to be a boss character and that guys just a few minutes into the game shouldn't be on the same level as guys who put hours into it. I'm very sorry for being so critical. I appreciate your prompt attempts to appease us beginners and veterans alike and for your presence on the forums. Thank you so much I really appreciate your patience and understanding. I don't know if us lower levelers can still pull off the points needed to catch up with the other players but we'll stick with it and try to see if there's a strategy we can come up with to better our chances. I appreciate you giving us every little bit of leeway in the guild wars. I'll make another inapp contribution the next time I get paid. Yes it is already active. The wingman start with low damage and attacks first, so if you are still using auto-revive and have high enough HP, you might survive the first couple dual attacks.
I love this game and can honestly say that Playmage has done a terrific job with Dragon Era. Though I do have to sympathize with them and laugh at the same time. I find it hilarious that so many people complained about the ease of the bahamut battle, whined about exploits and pleaded for change, and then started crying when it got too difficult and begged for it to be changed back. Then they talk about the impossibility of getting 50k guild points under the new system when realistically, getting that many points was made Easier and you need not spend a penny to get that many I won't even begin to touch the tears shed over the bahamut cards and the sad fact that some players aren't content that 90ish players are going to get a FREE 7 STAR CARD when the GW finishes. Not sure how many free cards you need. Anyway, great game and we'll see you on the battle field.
I largely agree that all the drama was ridiculous. But I'm not sure what point anyone is trying to make by commenting on a free 7* card. Is the expectation that we should have to pay $4.99 for any decent card? There have been at least 3 different games that are all some iteration of this game. All of them offered the chance to obtain good cards through time and effort. And trust me when I say that farming the guild war before the change definitely took time and effort. While I think the guild war mechanic is an interesting twist, 'giving' away this card is a decision not borne of generosity nor creativity. It's just a thing. And it certainly doesn't insulate playmage from criticism.
arena battles sorry to derail the bahamut conversation- but just wanted to chime in on the arena aspect... are there any tweaks that can be done that reward more points for beating higher ranked teams and having more wins? I don't think that having a landslide victory over low ranked teams should equate to more points than a close victory over a top seeded team. also, i'm surprised to see teams with less wins than mine have more points overall yet I keep fighting the highest ranks available. side note- I have a maxed out lvl 40 floral maiden yet lost to another floral maiden... I though tie goes to the challenger. *see you all in the arena ;-)

It appears that the invisible wingman with his counter just went away and now we get 2 swings I guess from Bahamut at round 35. Interesting that playmage has this much editing capability without a binary update. Anyway, still pretty much have to count on dying at round 35 (most of us anyway).
If you can find a panzer in the guild shop then you sure as hell better find bahamut in there too Seriously that's just outright laughable It's hacking. Don't make any excuses for it I'm not spending anymore money on this game until I get some answers
i agree. On another note, please amend the guild so that anyone can buy from guild shop. First of all, why make limited star players. Please give the option that everyone can be stars or at least buy from the shop.
This as well. A guild is when everyone comes together. Allowing for only half the guild members star status while alienating the other half contradicts the purpose of a guild
Auto-spin and multiple team design is in the next update, which we submitted to Apple already right after they approved 1.1.1 Because that card can be "farmed" by very high level players. The highest two level actually drops the panzer dragon as a gold card, with hardest level dropping ~50% of time and second hardest level dropping about 5-10% of time. The second attack logic was implemented in version 1.1.1 as the proper fix, which we submitted to Apple over a week ago hoping it would release before Guild Wars start. Whether the double attack is enabled is configured on the server, so we removed the buggy looking work-around and enabled the actual fix once we got most of the players running on version 1.1.1. I will forward this feedback to our designer, but I think it's intentional where basically star members are the "officers" of your guild, who recognized (with very slightly higher bonus) for their extra contributions.
Thanks for all the feedback wren. Active support is a key for my interest in this new game and is greatly appreciated. Two more questions... 1) Can you remind us how the 20% gem buy bonus works again? Does it last the entire event or only for 1 purchase? Also is the 20% in addition to what we see listed in the store, or does the store value already reflect the 20% bonus? 2) (mostly for the others, like mikew) What evidence do you see of people hacking? I don't see any evidence myself, at least I don't see players with anything that couldn't be obtained with $ or high level player rewards... thanks
