Apples such a big company you think that they would be smart enough to hire more reviewers cause thats the logical thing to do but no. Thanks theishkid for expaining whats taking so long. iv waited a couple months for this guess a couple weeks more wouldn't hurt.

I saw some of the developers talking at one time about having trucks in the game too... hopefully there is the ford lightning in there. But more importantly I'm looking for a lamborghini.
i bet most of you are looking in the app store when you wake up and before you goto sleep. If so be warned because you will forget one day/night and POOF it will appear without you knowing ! this app will deffinatly be going on my first page on my itouch
I'm starting to think that the app might have gotten kicked back... i haven't seen many go this long without an approval.
Whats with apple why is it taking so long to get approved. I mean i get it that when they approve a game they have to go through each level and complete the game to see if theres any glitches or mistakes but almost 3 weeks thats crazy. i hope it will be out by the 9th when the rumored ipods will be announced cause im planning on buying one and playing DR on it.
They don't actually play through the entire game, but they do have to make sure all the little facets of the game are in working order. I'm worried about apple feeling like all the cars are trademark infringement to the car companies. That almost has to be it. If it didn't get kicked back then it's probably waiting in line for a review by some higher ups.
Remember when Adam said he got an email from apple... I think that it will take 14 days after he resummited it because he had to change the name. I could be wrong but what other reason could it be if it's not out yet
I dont think he said he got an email from apple he said he checked the apple site on sept.3 (the date it was expected to release) and it said its still in review, so it could take another week starting from the third, and why would he have to change the name. lol
So lets play the "not going to happen but would be fun anyway" rumor game. What if Apple is holding on to the app to show off at tomorrows event. Adam said he would be away for the next few days traveling... so maybe Apple contacted him and "traveled" him to California to show off his app with other apps as they release an updated itouch tomorrow. Very unlikely but there is a 1% chance it could happen. After all drag racer was a very popular flash game and from the likes of Adam has transfered it to the phone very well. So here are my probabilities as to what is taking so long. 69% chance apple is just slow as crap 25% chance it got kicked to a higher level of approval managers since they might be worried about copyright with car manufacturers 5% the apps been denied for various reasons 1% chance apple is holding to show at tomorrows event.
75% - Apples slow 5% - got pushed back because of copyright with the cars (unlikely though cause in the videos that adam has on youtube the car names are different and the cars look similar enough to the point that you know what car it is in real life but also a bit different on some parts like the tail lights or bumpers) 17% - got denied due to something wrong with the game (again unlikely considering the time it took to make this game and the time spent waiting lol) 2% - its approved already but they cant get a hold of adam to tell him its approved so he cant approve apples approvel cause hes traveling - maybe 1% - their holding it for tomorrows ipod event
