Thanks for the recommendations guys! I'll get the game in a minute I'll also make sure to put the Dandy game on my watch list, so I can maybe get that one later.
If you're talking about the mini 2, it works on that. I actually prefer it that way, but can only play when at home. It's really cool because it's in landscape instead of portrait, and IMO it's more comfortable to play that way. The buttons are on the sides, not blocking the action too.
This game is brilliant Mike! Thanks again. I plan on spending my lunch playing. But moreover I'm looking forward to getting home to really crack into this. Very well made and original. A little bit of it reminds me of a Sheep loving friend of ours.
Bro, I agree. I can't believe just how well this game meshes with everything I love about iOS gaming. I'm surprised I hadn't heard about it until yesterday. Shows just how out of the loop I am...
What I'd like to know is what underlies beneath the game. I can't understand why an apparently simple game as this one needs an iPhone 5+/iPad 4+ to run, although it seems to accept iOS 5.1.1 as a minimum required iOS spec. Why such high device specs?
Just reached world 3 for the first time. And just fell in love a little more. This game is so freakin' good. I can't stop smiling!
This is absolutely glorious. Most fun I've had in my iPhone since super hexagon dropped. 3-3 is my best so far
Ok, taking the risk then, but the description states perfectly iPhone 5 and up... Will post performance imps when it installs and I get to play it a bit.
God I'm loving this game! So awesome. I love trying to go fast and get high kill combos. Highest level is only 2-2 tho. Question- what does the "gem high" state actually do for you ? Just quicker ?
Dev says on Twitter that's it's mainly for fun, bullets do a little more damage and your character looks cooler
My only complaint is that the music isn't as godly as I was expecting. If this game had Gunslugs' soundtrack it would be even more rockin'
It took me a few games before realizing that you can dispatch some enemies (the ones that aren't solid red) by jumping or just falling down on top of them--like Super Mario clobbering those turtles. Mixing in some of this with the usual gunboot blasts helped me get much farther. Also, this game is good.
On iPad 3 it runs veeeeery slow, losing all the appeal of the game itself. Therefore, avoid it if you have an iPad 3, but you can purchase it for your 4S (at least on iOS 7.1.2, don't know if it'll perform well on iOS8-9)
