I just recently decided to go over 180 apps since I hate deleting games and I buy too many. Anyways my question is if you try and download an application from the mobile app store when all your pages are full what happens? I know normally the screen shifts to whatever page the app is downloading onto but that can't happen if all the pages are full. I don't want to try it in case it scrambles the of my apps like it dis when I tries to update an off page limit one. Has anyone done this?

Having done this many times I can tell you what happens. ;)

After "purchasing" the app, you will go back to page one.

You won't be able to tell if the app is finished downloading - you for the most part can watch the wifi spinner in the upper left on the iPod bar, but I've found that to stop sometimes before an app is done.

Then if you have OS 3.0 you can go to the search screen and find it by typing in a few letters. (Sometimes the apps are named strangely in the OS, and can be hard to find.)

You can also exploit a bug in OS 3.0 by filling your first two pages of apps, then put the Voice Memos app on the last space on the last page (meaning that one is full as well) and then "losing" that app by dragging another one onto the last page.

Then, after a reboot or a sync (usually) you will end up with the Voice Memos app on page 1, and the last app on page one displaced to a "new" page 2 (which will be mostly blank, unless you already had apps over the limit.)

You can do this several times, right now I have 16 pages of apps!

The only way you can manage apps beyond the pages is by removing them via iTunes, or removing enough apps on the pages, then rebooting or synching to get the hidden ones to shuffle back in.
