Half the posts in the Rolando 2 thread are one-liners like: "Downloading now!" "D/L now!" "Downloading as we speak!" Why do people feel the need to do this? Does anyone here actually care whether a particular member is--at that very moment--downloading a game? I suppose it serves a purpose if (and only if) the member then returns to the thread and posts their impressions. But a lot of them don't...so it's just more useless posts to wade through to get to the good stuff.
Feeding frenzy mentality. Most folks like to be safe and part of the crowd. So, if I am doing, I am hoping others are going to do the same thing. Especially with the higher priced apps. Although, I always thought is funny that one Ebay - the "Buy it Now" option is generally less expensive (although most things are more expensive than if you spend 10 minutes doing some price comparisons at the main on-line retailers) then the auctions, but people love to bid those things up... Better for the seller I suppose..
I keep personal tabs on everyone. I have a log of every action everyone does on TA. lol nah jk. I don't really post "DLing now" kind of stuff only cause it never really takes long at all to DL any app on my work's 100 mbps internet connection. Unless I am at home, but I am not on TA as often at home, vs. work.
You posted this thread way after you should have and you didn't even give me an explanation. I'm never reading any of your threads again.
Nitpicking at society isn't gonna get you anywhere. You know what bothers me? Screaming kids in the supermarket with New Age mothers that, instead of disciplining them, tell them to "calm the lines on your face, child of light. embrace peace and serenity into your heart", while I'm standing on the sidelines wanting to throw the box of Lucky Charms I'm holding at my hand at both of them.
