Thanks for the contests! Enjoyed the puzzles in the intro chapter - just wish it hadn't been so short. Art work is very moody and somber, with the eerie and haunting music and sound effects - a spooky atmosphere is nicely set up. I love puzzle/point and click adventures so when I heard about the pending release of Haunted Manor: The Secret of The Lost Soul - I jumped at the chance to download the light version and try it out before the full game was launched. I must say that I was not dissapointed. From the eerie, moody and meticulous artwork to the haunting music, the creepy atmosphere was set up perfectly from the very begining as you try to enter the house to get out of a sudden thunderstorm. Unless you keep your eyes open it's very easy to miss the subtle clues. This very brief intro to the full game has a few puzzles to solve and objects to collect. Getting in was the "easy" part - now you have to find your way out.....Not much of the storyline was revealed but it definitely captures your interest. I almost expected to uncover something really horrid with every click....Once you leave this room the light version is abruptly over but further adventure and mystery is promised in the complete version which will consist of 13 levels and 50 locations. The game seems to be quite a massive undertaking as the plot is also available in several European languages. This has obviously been a great and painstaking labour of love by the developers. A huge promotional campaign has been started that will see 1000 people winning the full game when it is launched later this month. So what are you waiting for? Download and see if you can figure out the secrets buried in the Haunted Manor!
