Impressive Well, I hope you like it guys. With this runner we're somewhat slowing down in making runners with the only exception - Joan Mad Run, that we're more and more actively rushing now. So, enjoy this runner and stay tuned for more games and for the Joan. Thanks for playing our small bare gameplay games that allowed us to test gameplay things that will make the Joan better.

Did we make the game a way too hardcore? touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #32 touchy85, Jun 18, 2015 Yes, I think most people play it, then die after 2 seconds, then play it again and die after 3 seconds and think this is too hard I'm deleting it. Quazonk Well-Known Member Mar 30, 2011 1,102 4 38 #33 Quazonk, Jun 19, 2015 Simply, yes. I came in here to make this comment before I knew it was a question from the dev. There simply isn't enough time to react to what's happening in front of you. As someone who likes to consider themself quite skilled at these type of games, and certainly doesn't lack in experience, I'm telling you right now that the difficulty of this game is what is going to lead to your player base deleting the app, as I have. If it is tweaked I will give it another shot, but as it is at the moment, it feels unfairly hard. Happybyte Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Mar 1, 2011 605 0 0 #34 Happybyte, Jun 19, 2015 Thanks for sharing the info We'll be tweaking this in an update. A great help from your side would be if you would play a few our other games and would share then your thoughts on how hard these games are. This will allow us to complare the difficulty and tune it in a right direction. Games to compare the difficulty: Fist of Fury Splish Splash Pong Cube Koala Rudi Well-Known Member Mar 3, 2009 523 0 16 #35 Rudi, Jun 19, 2015 Yes, very hard. I have no fun with it. A game should start easy, than getting slowly harder. Starting so difficult was the wrong decision. Nice Artwork , not playable for me. Happybyte Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Mar 1, 2011 605 0 0 #36 Happybyte, Jun 19, 2015 Thanks =) Did you try the "easy play mode"? I mean holding the device so the the road is parallel to the horizon? vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #37 vectorarchitekt, Jun 19, 2015 I think the difficulty is fine. It's very hard, yes, but it makes for great short rounds and I'd rather just jump right in instead of starting off easy every time waiting for it to get harder anyway. This same thing happened to Swing Copters and I thought the challenge was what made it fun. If you do make an easier mode, please leave the current one and call it "hard mode" or something...maybe implement a difficulty degree mode option like Radical? Ragno Well-Known Member May 23, 2014 172 0 0 Germany http://km-games.com/ #38 Ragno, Jun 25, 2015 I tried it and have to say it is really quite difficult because of the camera angle. If you would zoom a bit more out that obstacles could be seen a bit earlier, i think that would help alot. I noticed in the german app store that there are unfortunately many negative reviews because of the difficulty, which is a bit sad because the game is really good otherwise! I really like the art and the UI of the game is really great! Happybyte Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Mar 1, 2011 605 0 0 #39 Happybyte, Jun 25, 2015 We had to put a message warning about the difficulty and has started to lower the percentage of bad reviews, but doesn't resolve the issue. The fix is already done and undergoes last tests before a submit - the difficulty will be fixed. Before the fix is released try playing at 45 degrees for easier play The current issue is with different field (area) of view on different devices. It's more or less fine on iPhone 6. Bad at iPad and other smaller diagonal ratio devices. Thanks for loving the game (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
