Has the balance issue been fixed yet? I hit a massive wall around level 50 and stopped playing since.

Didn't have time to post earlier :( Same here, I hit the wall even earlier, just a bit past level 41. Stopped playing there too, as the amount of Gold you need to progress meaningfully skyrocketed. Balance up to level 40 was great, no complaints about that. Gutfeeling says they didn't playtest enough past level 40 ;)

Hi, I have fixed some balance issues including some craft recipes. But I am not sure if it is ok for you. Please just try if you want :)

Could you post those changes here?
Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention, but I didn't notice any differences in the recipes so far.

    re difficulty spike:
Getting from 40 to 50 is brutal still. I tried again yesterday with the Grimms, made it to 50 (started at 41) and got royally stomped.
Monster HP jumped up a few notches. On top of that you get more nasty stuff like the Vampires and Werewolves, both of which are pretty tough opponents - even one can completely ruin your day.

I wouldn't be surprised if the guy who reached level 200 dropped a ton of money on buying gold. I estimate that'll take me at least weeks, if not months, of regular play to get that far down.

Bought the 5€ Gold pack to show some support. That was gone in a minute, just enough to unlock and fill another floor and upgrade some cheaper recipes.
2500 per house slot, and 5000 to unlock the next floor is way to steep. I'll have to grind for days to get that kind of gold just for the house, and then I didn't even upgrade any recipes yet.

    Save function, please?
Also, this absolutely needs a "save on exit" function. I rarely have the time to sit down long enough to start e.g. at 20 or 30 and work my way down to 50. If it saves the current state, I could stop and pick it up again later, playing in smaller chunks.

Actually this guy does not spend money at all. At least he told me he did not. We will build iCould feature in the next version which will be released in the early of next month.
