iPad Pro 12" user waiting for update Just chiming in for the iPad Pro users. I'm also waiting for the fix. Game looks good.
Thank you so much for liking this game. We are still working on it and also collecting some suggestions
Welcome to TA, Bull! The slimes shouldn't be that much of a problem, let's see what we can do to keep you going. Slimes are Elementals, so using Red doesn't give an advantage. Keep in mind that they explode on death and do extra damage then - 5hp I think. With all attributes upped to 2, you should have at least one floor full of antiques in your house already. When you start a game, how much health, attack and defense do you have? If you cannot kill them in one hit, craft a weapon or even better the Blowdart or Slingshot to do damage without getting attacked back. If all else fails, you can use one of those metal bar "Metal Scraps" on them.
Ah well, I play games for 35 years now, and not totally bad at it, so some stuff sticks Always welcome, let us know how things go.
Should be called "Lantern Quest", because thats pretty much all you do, craft lanterns. Wish there was like a Lantern Crafting school 'cause my Lanterns suck, and I end up taking more damage from the dark then I do from actuall enemies. Seriously though, once you craft a lantern, you should be able to "refill" it with the yellow liquid originally used to craft it. Same goes for weapons and armor; you should be able to maintain crafted items with mats, rather than having to remake them. The limited inventory space adds insult to injury: if by crafting an item, I use the last of a required mat, then the game should know an inventory slot will become available, rather than prohibiting the crafting attempt. Even more frustrating, if I "use" a weapon/armor item, and associated slots are full, it should swap items, rather than trashing what is equipped. It's obvious the game is intended to be a light-hearted Dungelot with heavy emphasis on crafting. And while it seems to achieve that, due to the frustrations associated with crafting, for me, what might have otherwise been appealing, ends up feeling more tedious than enjoyable.
I am so sorry that it does not work out for you. Anyway thank you for your words, we will keep optimizing this game.
You can use the liquid to "refill" by adding light. I agree about some of your points on inventory space and equipment though. Those are minor gripes I have but overall this is a fun game from what I've played so far.
