      How awesome wouldnt it be to play a game based on Dota and LoL on iOS?

      A famous Warcraft III mod. It is a genre in itself and many games sprung after the original mod (LoL, Hon, Dota 2).

      Ahh, thanks for the explanation! So it would be more appropriate for him to say "I want to play Warcraft III with full support for mods" on iOS... which will likely never happen :)

      Not really. DotA is a Warcraf III custom map, but it's spawned a genre including League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, and a handful of others. Valve is even releasing a sequel of sorts called Dota 2 next year. I think he's just expressing that it'd be awesome if a developer went and made a game with the same framework, like LoL and HoN did. Currently it's a completely unfilled niche on the app store.

      I actually think it's quite possible...it'd just be a very stripped down version. As for online, it'd be quite laggy...

      If gameloft could make an online mmorpg then a dota game wouldnt be impossible for them to make. :)

      I think it would work if you had a dual-stick shooter type of setup, and then buttons along the bottom for abilities. I would buy it :)

      OMG YES!!!
      League of Legends is amazing. If I had that on my iTouch...
      well, lets just say I'd never get anything done ever again.
      Anybody have anything similar to it on Ios?
