Ok, I've bought RE 4, and I love it. It's a great action game, and even though the controls don't nearly come close to RE on a PC, it's still a fun game. It's definitely watered down compared to the PC, but what do you expect from a device with no buttons? Even though, it's still a great game. I have to say that I still prefer Doom Resurrection, but RE isn't that far behind.
Actually I guess a better comparison would be Resident Evil 4 vs Terminator Salvation for the best third person shooter, and Doom Resurrection and Prey Invasion for the best first person shooter. Obviously Doom is a lot better than Prey, but there's also Hill Billy and Wolfenstein 3D Classic. Someone should start two threads, one for best TPS and the other best FPS.
