I played this on Steam some months ago and had a real blast even in Early Access. You don't need to have played the first game but the story is parallel to the original with a good number of references to it. The systems have changed especially with the addition of swappable classes but still feels like its own. Lots of laughs like the first and I highly recommend it!

I was debating to get the first one and never did get it... Decided to buy this one since I know the original had a lot of fans!
Lots of fun so far! This is a dumb question, I know, but does anybody know if it's possible to re-assign your level up points once they've been used, or are you stuck with your stat-boost choices?
Has some issues... Hmm I hate to say it but I would say avoid this for now. The account system seems to have some serious issues. If you make an account, the game wipes your progress and starts from the beginning with no warning, and even after that for some reason it doesn't actually sync your saves, even at the crystals like it says it will. I'm utterly confused at how it's supposed to work. Maybe there's a good game under the hood, but this is concerning. I was able to overlook the frequent translation problems but this just seems to be a blatant disregard for testing in general... Also, hopefully chunks of the game start being posted through the app store instead of updating within the app. The server distributing updates is really really slow.
The server that pushes online updates... Can you pls upgrade the bandwidth at least 1000 times? Oh my god.. I am running on a 1 gig connection and it's taking forever for 130mb

So fun! I'm the type of guy who always wants to play RPGs - but usually has a hard time getting engaged with the story line... This is perfect for me, it's humorous while keeping a great class leveling system/battle mechanics. Get it now for cheap!!!
I can't work out how the save crystals work - I've only played to the first one but I activated it and then when I restarted later it put me back a few screens/locations away. Also I really don't like the menu system - I'm finding it very tricky to use - could just be me tho and I might get used to it I guess but I don't remember it being like this in the first one
Use your brains. obviously a lot of people are hitting his server, I had over 500kbps sometime over 2000kbps
+1 here I have purchased and wish listed most RPGs and am yet to play most. Love them till the idea of constant grinding becomes apparent.
