Sadly or rather surprisingly, for .99¢ this looks better and plays better than most Kemco RPG's I find myself trudging through lately! A steal for the price!
Yeah I'm gonna have to give this one a rating of "awesome." It's humorous, light hearted fun with excellent controls. Until controllers are the norm, bad controls tends to be my biggest pet peeve. This controls like an rpg ported to the iPad except that it doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. It just makes good use of the device.
Yes thx for the info I'm running the same IOS so I'm assuming it would crash on my touch 5 also. But I'm all over it when it's fixed , sounds like a real gem.
Just bought it and got stuck on the first boss fight aswell. And like someone else said, indeed this game has a better gameplay than most kemco games with a story similar to pen and paper but apparently better and funnier, i just hope they fix the problem ASAP so i can continue playing. If you want to try it go ahead, you get around 30-45 minutes of gameplay before the bug.
Just wanted to add that I reloaded the game and a menu comes up called "Extras". In this menu you can enable cloud saves. Nice little surprise to have.
This game seems pretty amazing, it's hilarious and has an interactive environment. I'm running on iOS 6.1.3 and I'm also having the dragon boss bug. When I was fighting the dragon I couldn't even see it, I was hitting an invisible monster. Hopefully they fix this soon
Cheap RPG Fun Having fun with this one. The writing is fresh and it's fun using chips, pizza and beer rather than healing potions. The menu is awkward but not enough to ruin the gameplay. If you enjoy the JRPG genre this one is well worth picking up - especially for a buck! Crash: On iPhone 4S using iOS 7.0.2. Can't see bosses when I get the red key. While fighting bosses game crashes and sends me back to desktop. Tried to report to dev through App Store but no longer appears to be there.
Thanks for the tip! Great news, as I don't like to take out the iPad on the bus or waiting at the station. Just an additional note, it only supports SkyDrive as of now. Not surprising as this game apparently has its roots in Windows Phone, but can be found on Xbox, Google Play, PC and I think Linux as well. Hopefully DropBox will be added??
Having the same problem on iPad 2. Even after rebooting iOS 7 it still crashes during the first boss fight. Also unable to see the boss sprite graphics, my characters are attacking thin air, although I see the text for a dragon and dungeon. Really like the look and feel of this game - even the funky swipe-in menu, but without a fix I'm unable to continue...
Hopefully it's fixed and back ASAP. I was looking forward to playing this tonight, then I get home from work, click on the link, and.... nothing. #
