There is already a powerup like this, the only difference is that it doesn't hurt your enemies. It would have to kill pretty quickly though, since hovering above your enemy for any extended period of time will get you killed.
I might have pressed the wrong spot a few times trying to pause, but hand-eye coordination was kind of difficult for me with the way I awkwardly placed my video camera.
Thanks for doing the vid. Hopefully there will be one of some multiplayer action soon. The app is currently in review. Normally at this point it is either approved or rejected within a day or two.
Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel So what does it do if it doesn't hurt your enemies? It's just a long stream of flame? And yeah, my suggestion would have to be balanced. I haven't played the game, but I was thinking it would be pretty advantageous since you could in theory hover over one enemy and burn him up while shooting another enemy in another direction. I don't know how badly hovering exposes you to gunfire. Still think it's a worthy tradeoff.
I don't think it will work well. You'd most likely just get shot in the nuts. Might be best to wait for the flame thrower.
