Don't I hate these threads? Ya with fervor. Have you checked the thread recently, and see how hard is working for you guys? Pretty crappy way to repay him.
For sure. People never understand what it is to be a developer. People also never realize that it was their own damn choice to pay for a game. And even then I mean...the AppStore?...9.99 cap for games in general? And we have people complaining about getting too little content for 0.99?-TWO BAGS OF CHIPS?! Put yourself in the developers shoes, especially an indie one. With no multimillion (or even multithousand) support like ea or gameloft, while only charging up to 6.99 for their games?...this is their jobs guys, for many of them at least. The least you can do is keep the shit to yourself.
$9.99 wasted on the most expensive iphone game, or $9.99 wasted on the jumbo sized popcorn at the movie theatre. Oh wait does that get free refills?
I don't really HATE the game guys, just so disappointed, and I still am. Like biting out of a cheeseburger everyone has been telling you is just GREAT and it looks satisfying enough to eat, then you bite it and it' a mouth full of .
You're entitled to your opinion. Just keep it down. The general majority who have played the game actualy like it.
Weird that everyone jumps on you for saying one game isn't as great as it's hyped to be. But then again that's with any fandom/fan.
A mouthful of sad. I really think the game is great, you should maybe spend a bit more time getting used to the admittedly clunky UI.
I don't quite remember the hype.. When you make a thread like this, that's all you're asking for..so like I said, share your opinions if you have to on the app review on iTunes and that'll be enough.
Here's the deal, how about we say nothing. Then if your work doesn't sell you can just guess why. I'm good with that. Are you? Don't know who you were aiming that at, but there is only one game that I talk badly about and that's RTK Touch. I hate that game. Otherwise I have tried to be fair in my criticism. If this is harming you sensibilities, I'll stop. Good luck. Also threads like this should show developers how stiff the competition for buyers is.
agreed, there was little hype for this game. Off topic: lol have you played all 300+ games? I have 290 but havent even touched half of them, its like an addiction haha.
Yes the AppStore is one of the worst things out there...well I've spent 30 mins at least on all of them. Some games like zenonia, I've spent 50+ hours on. Idk..heh.
My 2 cents - its easier to critique a game than to make one, but the reality is everyone is a critic and you gotta roll with the punches if you are a Dev, especially in the App Store. Hurt feelings? Yeah - you get used to it after day 1 - you'll get 1 stars when you least expect it!
True however, I've been a salesman and the worst thing is when you get no feedback. Negative feedback isn't always easy to take but it helps far more than when you get nothing. The OP in this thread at least stated why he/she was unhappy with the product.
