Well tbh, i think its sharp enough for the 6+'s resolution. As for ip5, im not sure as i havent compared it yet nor is my 5 even working lol. Been dead ever since because of that battery issue apple had.
It would be great if the iPad version had the inventory labels that the iPhone version has. Sometimes if you don't remember what an item is, you have to put it on the ground to look at it.
Would like to see further optimisations so that it doesn't run so hot and drain battery so rapidly (in my case ip6 and mini 2). FTL for example runs cool as a cucumber, and that is similarly real-time. Although I understand that they run off completely different engines. Still, I hope there is room for improvement.
Yep. That was the big problem I had with the iPad version. Even if you clicked "examine" on the inventory item, it could well say something like "it grows from the ground". I understand the charm of this thing is finding out what everything does...but it shouldn't be about just trying to determine what the items are/called. Good to see the iPhone version is improved from this. Wonder what made them do it really.
It looks fantastic on an iPhone 6+! I now own this on both Vita and iOS and I love being able to whip out my phone to play. I'm still absolutely terrible at this game, but it's totally enjoyable on the smaller screen too.
Probably because the icons are on the small side. I emailed Klei to see if they would add the inventory labels so fingers crossed!
Don't Starve controls ridiculously well on my iPhone 6. I think I might actually prefer this format to the PC (had I still owned a computer and not gone full smartphone, that is). Also, this is probably one of the most polished and unique gaming experiences for iOS.
He/she could have it on mini...that could be the reference... But yes it is possible to have FTL on iPhone with a JB. I do. And it's awesome. Been playing it quite a bit on my 6+. But it's not full screen, and you defs need to use the zoom function. Don't think it'd be any good on a 6 though. And Yeh, FTL does run cool. Minimal or normal battery drain, and no heat. Just saying. Sorry to derail.
Hey all just got this and it's awesome to have it on the go! Few things I've noticed vs playing on a console.... -is there a way to eat or fuel more than one item at a time...so many taps lol - iT gets hot on a 6 but not unreasonably so - I almost want a invisible joystick...several times I've hit a beefalo trying to score some manure Any tips on this greatly appreciated! Cheers and great job devs
Multiplayer might be a bit of a problem, but I am definitely hoping that we get to see the Shipwrecked expansion.
