In today’s updates of the Web browser roundup (The One and only Real iPhone Web Browser Roundup) and the 3G S tidbit article (Something you won’t find in other iPhone 3G S reviews: tons on 3G S benchmarks etc.), I’ve elaborated on the following:

    - Getting and using a brand new download manager for Safari. It’s not quite the level and quality of iCab Mobile 1.6, but still usable.

    - Whether the rumored heat buildup issue really makes the iPhone 3G S useless on hot summer days.

Finally, I’ve also elaborated on some additional experience with games like UniWar and NFS: Unlimited on the 3G S.

To find the latest updates of the two articles, just scroll to the bottom of them or, using Ctrl-F (Find), look for the string “02/Aug/2009” (without the quotes, of course) on the last page of the thread (if it’s a multi-page one).

Note that I won’t keep posting announcements like this when I publish a brand new piece of news on any subject I’ve already published a lengthy article on. (I don’t want to flood the forum with announcements like those. In general, I post updates on a daily basis; sometimes, more than one in a day. Just imagine the flood it'd cause if I posted them in a separate thread - or just an announcement / link to the news items...) If you want to be informed on the latest news, AppStore / Cydia updates etc. on the program groups (e.g., Web browsers, instant messengers, radio apps etc.) or other kinds of articles (e.g., generic thoughts on the 3G S; in what it’s better / worse than the iPhone 3G etc.), make sure you check out my original threads as soon as you see they’ve received a new post from me. Better yet, subscribe to them to be notified as soon as I post an update.
