Not sure if this has come up already, but there's a really noticeable framerate drop which strikes at the very moment you erm, strike an opponent. Only happens with the bigger explosions though. But hey, I'm lovin' the update! Was a long-time fan of 1951 from day day one, and I'm really diggin the (far better) app icon too! Graphics are gorgeous. Simon
"Mixtape" starts Apple's media selector so players can select their own tracks from their libraries. When custom music is played game music gets silenced. Tapping tape machine switches ingame music back on (or off, if one wants to hear only sound effects). Cheers, lauri ad / treehouse ltd

Anyone been able to get an online game yet? When I do auto match I can't find anyone. I take it as a bad sign when it ranks me #2 and top 50% without playing a game
OMG unexpected update! Totally awesome now! 1951 is one of the best shooters game ever. At $1 it is a no brainer now!
Ooh never mind guys. The music is there and it's the same I think,however I cannot hear it clearly during combat,that is my concern
Fan freaking tastic! Love the new graphics (iPad 2) and the scout plane too! Got my guy up to level 17 now, and almost made it past wave 13. Not a fan of the new icon, but as I can't think of anything better that's a nitpick at best, and the audio seems different (softer?) and the music is almost inaudible. Great game no matter what, and this update makes it better. Much better.
Love the update!!! The game looks fan-freakin-tastic on 4th gen device. I haven't been able to get anyone to play the multiplayer either . Still, singleplayer is great. Got up to wave 8, but got blown up by flack. Is there a trick to avoiding flack? Thanks, devs. Question: do all player planes look the same in multi? It would be great to have different skins for your airplane. The new enemy with back facing machine gun is a great addition as well. If you don't have the game yet - GET it!

Wow , it's much better after the update now . I'm getting a lot more hits on the enemy planes thus allowing me to survive much longer . Thanks for the great update Multiplayer is just awesome . Just did co-op with my brother , we kicked each others ass quite a few times . Sure fun as hell .
WhooHoo. My guy made it to level 20, and I was one kill away from wave 18 in 5 hours of flight time. Too cool. Now to try it again with a different skill.

Yes, it uses tilt controls. I'm playing it on the ipad. I'm not a big fan of tilt controls generally, but it's working for me. I like swiping my left thumb to boost the throttle up or down.
