PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #5 PeteOzzy, Jan 17, 2014 This is really nice, I'm impressed! Will definitely pick up the full version when I reach the end of the trial. It's a very slow paced RPG with platforming elements. When I say slow-paced though, I really mean it - don't start playing until you have at least 20 minutes free. The combat is a nice semi-turn based variant where your four moves have seperate time gauges and can be activated when full, everything happens in real time. The story is definitely a selling point and I'm really looking forward to playing through this. Loving the loot too, was not expecting so many RPG elements from a cutesy platforming game! PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #6 PeteOzzy, Jan 17, 2014 For those wondering, the Unlock IAP is £1.49 so most likely $1.99. It doesn't say in game until you try to purchase which I know puts some off. The only other IAPs are experience packs, but to be honest I'm not even sure there'd be any point in buying them even if you wanted to cheat - you level up pretty quickly and old equipment gets turned into XP you can redeem from the drop down menu. Finding a new loot piece and selling the old one gets me nearly the same XP as the most expensive experience pack so I wouldn't even worry about its' existance IMO. I've bought the full game so I'll leave proper impressions after more play, but it's definitely worth trialling it Capronissimo71 Well-Known Member Sep 5, 2011 1,305 137 63 Male Italy #7 Capronissimo71, Jan 17, 2014 Last edited: Jan 17, 2014 Guys I can't find the game on my store (italian). PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #13 PeteOzzy, Jan 17, 2014 Game Impressions I really think so, though I'm both an avid RPG fan and animal lover. It's very slow-paced as mentioned, the character moves pretty slowly and events/battles can be fairly sparse. It gives you the opportunity to really enjoy the environments, the graphical style and the occasional storyline thought bubble. I'm sure some will fault it for the pace which is why I'm so insistent on mentioning it, but it works for the game in a strange way. Battles consist of your four moves charging up and then activating them. There's a base attack, a stun, a debuff and a heal-type move that adds to a second health bar. It keeps up a decent speed during battles and distracts from the fact that there really isn't that much tactics involved other than activating every move when it's possible but it's still satisfying, especially given that it's not too easy - I go from battle to battle with around half health and it can get pretty tense. You get loot too, though I've yet to see a piece that isn't better than my previous equipment so it simplifies the inventory management - which could be seen as either a pro or a con. But it definitely still has the kleptomaniac excitement that some RPGs offer, though it can get confusing as to which category the item belongs too (Especially considering the menu doesn't pause gameplay) The atmosphere is the real selling point for me, I initially downloaded for the cute sprite and promises of RPG elements but I purchased because I wanted to see the end of the story. It might be predictable initially but it's compelling regardless. The future elements keep the environments interesting and provide some nice set-piece events - two of which are in the trial section so I recommend sticking through it. It's a difficult game to provide impressions on though, I've probably made it sound unappealing but apart from a few spelling/grammar errors, most of the flaws I've found are pure opinion. I'm thoroughly enjoying the adventure and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the trial. It's long enough (about an hour) that you'll probably know how you feel by the end of it and I'd definitely say it maintains a similar quality after purchase with a nice but simple stealth section keeping the genre-hopping going. I suppose impressions are pointless when there's a trial anyway, but I have no regrets - certainly not once I was playing as a puppy with its' tongue flailing in the wind, such a cute sprite Pham Well-Known Member Jul 23, 2012 209 0 16 Denmark #14 Pham, Jan 17, 2014 Oh yeah.
