Huge Peggle and Zen Bound addict. I showed her minigore and she promptly went head on with a furry, no shots fired, it was uuuggglllyyy. She then said where is the fun in that? Haha, she is very girly but very sweet which is why I am with her.
I see what you did there blaming your gf for your Baseball Slugger losses... Mine also loves Baseball Slugger as a game but is more of a football and basketball fan (Cowboys and Mavs).
Being female and a gamer-girlfriend, I thought I'd reply. I'm not a huge gamer and I'm picky about what I'll play, but have starting playing a lot on my iPhone. Things I've played a lot of - Sally's Spa Flight Control Any Zuma clones Croke Katamari Lite Silly things I like - Smack Talk Ocarina Things I'm just starting to play, but like so far- Monkey Island KIL.A.TON Ragdoll Blaster I don't get Pocket Gods, just seems like a toy more than a game, with not much to do
My wife has been playing a lot of Inkvaiders. She's played a few other games like Coast Guard too. I haven't introduced her to Rolando yet, but with the sale on I might try to hook her on it.
My girlfriend loves Doodle Jump, every time I walk away somewhere and leave my phone behind, she will sure as hell grab it and try to beat my scores. PathPix is also a huge favorite of hers, and she also really likes Pocket God, and had fun with Triazzle but wished there was an overall point to it.
My girlfriend has spent hours and hours completely stuck to my phone screen, which was in fact holding Stoneloops of Jurassica
Well to switch it up a tad, my HUSBAND does not like playing games at ALL. He can barely operate his computer - its true what they say about those that get a PhD - so smart but so stupid. I on the other hand will play RPG's; TD's; just about any good puzzle game. I own three DS's that he brought me funky colors from different countries he visited for business (see he can be good for that); 2 PSPs and the household (for my son too) has two 360's. My brother and his wife have gaming contests sooooo - us girls know how to game!
My girl plays Peggle, Flood-It! and WordFu very frequently on my phone. I've got no problems, long as her fingers aren't dirty and/or oily
I have to agree, I think girls play games on iDevices almost as much as the guys do. It's nice seeing more girls showing up on TA, makes me not feel like such an outcast here anymore (there's like a 100:1 male to female ratio on this site ) and BTW, I'm not Asian nor am I a nerd
well, mines play Zynga Poker, peggle, bust-a-move, topple2, and I just started her on Alive-4-ever!!! (tho she complains her thumbs hurt...) 2-player game keeps things interesting you know. It can help her "feel" like she's important to you when you are on your Iphone...
swear to god, this works on ALL GIRLS. my mom, sister, girlfriend, aunt. they are always playing that ice cream game scoops. when i asked them why, they said the ice creams were cute... -.-
when i bought my wife an iphone, that's all she would play is bejeweled 2. now?, even after i showed her my 7 page list of the most original awesome games that have come out for the phone? still bejeweled 2 but now she wants a multiplayer game of trivial pursuit every time i'm home. she's not much into games....
I'm a girl and I have games filled up the brim in my iPhone. My husband doesn't really play anything. He just doesn't get controls nor does he take the time to learn. I got him an iPod Touch last Christmas and so far the only games he plays are Falling Balls and PapiJump. Maybe Scoops. He's so lame sometimes...
Same. I'm a girl and am pretty obsessed with iDevice gaming. Actually my touch has made me revert to my former 12 year old video game obsessed stuff (have an older brother... what can I say). Scoops doesn't appeal to me, BTW.
My wife has loved a lot of the games. Monsters, She loves Tumblebugs, enjoyed Tap Defence, and I had a hard time getting her to quit a few others.
