As an ipod touch and ipod owner competing on Apple's Game Center with the former, I've been wondering whether the games with global leaderboards and/or achievements have been effectively restricting larger format idevices from competing on the same level as iphone and ipod touch owners. Would it be possible for an iPad running Bit.Trip Beat to upload the score, or would the system filter the data on the basis of device type? The reason I ask is that Openfeint, for example, makes no qualification of such before accepting scores from games played in 2X mode.
