Can you put a button on your game as an option for players to click and pay to the developers pay pal account
You'd have to check the terms and conditions yourself to be sure, but I'm pretty much certain this is not allowed on Apple. Apple really don't want you circumventing the App Store. I believe there are exceptions such as buying actual goods from a retailer such as Ebay. Digital goods must be done via App store if I recall. Not sure about donations - Probably best to have a link through to your website that opens in Safari and lets them donate if they want? Sort of separates it from the app then.
It's not actually clear whether the OP is talking about donations or just using paypal as an alternative payment provider. I suspect it's the latter.
