I don't think so but I'm not sure to be honest. If it does it may just be more noticeable in DDP cause the laser is a life or death thing that comes up pretty often (whenever an enemy laser shows up).
Oh yeah, my mistake. I knew that. And I can definitely see the application of the bomb button given that fact (which I was unaware of), but it would be nice to be able to configure it more conveniently. In fact, really the only things I would ask for in an update to either of their games on the platform would be the button responsiveness issues and more control customization options. I, for one, would love to able to disable all of the buttons in the options menu (maybe even the laser, because that would be entertainingly pointless). I also think that it would be applicable to tie a specific command to, say, a double tap anywhere on the screen or something similar to that.
How many secret routes are there, and which stages are they on? I've done it on stage 1 and stage 3 or 4, can't remember. Usually by accident. What's the surefire way to trigger these?
Main thing I would want is a custom layout thing...and to put the button setups into Espgaluda too. The laser and shot off functions work better in DDP than what they put into Esp. All I know is the routes you get when you get the ura bosses. It sounds like the criteria is just to get the early silos in the first level before the tanks destroy them (and destroy the tanks), and have the hyper meter filled...I'm not sure if you need it filled at the time you destroy the silos/tanks though. On the later levels it seems like the only criteria is to have filled the hyper meter once before the ura boss route, it's ok to use it any time once you've filled it once.
From my own experience, To get ura bosses on all levels, all you have to do is destroy the previous level's ura boss and not let it time out. That's all. : If you aren't getting ura bosses on all levels, you aren't defeating the previous level's midboss quick enough. That's just what I've found though, I could be wrong.
Umm according to my experience~ You can get to hidden loop 1 by destroying the silo~ and second loop almost always happens~ condition~ dun die~ but not sure of that~ but for hidden in 3,4 and 5~ i think u need to collect a minimum number of bees~ For stage 5 hidden route, i had to collect all bees on stage 4 and not lose a life~ same for 4~ collect 7~8 out of 9 bees in lvl 3~ Here's a link for the location of bees on all stages http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Knight/1496/hatiura.html also if ur wondering how to activate the bees, You just have to shoot a laser at them once~ Not pass the laser over them , shoot at them with the laser! Goodluck Trying to unlock Hidden second loop myself Edit: Sorry for my poor english. Not a native speaker!
Not sure about that. There must be some other condition to get stage 3+ bosses, but bees aren't necessary. My first loop scoring runs are almost totally bee-less. Likewise, when getting second loop, I sometimes don't get stage 4 and 5 minibosses despite picking up all previous bees. I'll be doing a couple more superplay videos next week, as I'm hitting 900million scores in iPhone mode now. both loops.
Well maybe there are other conditions, But collecting all the bees is one of the sure-shot ones in loop 1 , that works for me atleast in the iPhone mode~ Also during your bee-less runs, do you get hidden route on lvl 4 and 5? Hoping to unlock hibachi today~
Is an activated bee green or yellow? I'd been wondering about the color change but had been unaware that one or the other indicated activation. Thanks in advance for any info.
The bee items are hidden at certain locations in the stages, you can see their locations by shooting your bullets/laser towards them, they will glow when bullets/lasers pass through them. However they can only be revealed when they get hit by the front part of your laser. Once being revealed, the item will change its color by the following order: Green-->flashing-->yellow-->flashing-->green-->...(repeat) In iPhone mode, green bee will move your SM gauge towards M, yellow bee will move the gauge towards S, flashing bee will fill your hit counter instantly by 150 (very important for scoring!) In arcade mode, green bee will fill your hyper gauge by 1/4, yellow bee will give you very high score points, which are also multipliable based on how many yellow ones you have already acquired. Getting the bee when it's flashing will grant you both merits from green and yellow ones. In arcade mode, when you collect all bees without dying or using any bomb in one stage, the score you earned from the last bee will be doubled (e.g. if you get the last bee when it's green, on the screen you will see "100X2") with a significant larger font, so it's easy to tell whether you missed one or not. For those people who are struggling to unlock Hibachi, I would recommend practicing collecting all bee items in arcade mode (as I said, it's easy to tell if you collect them all), and switch to iphone mode when you have remembered all the locations. Just remember that you have to play in NORMAL or HARD and collect all 45 bee items to enter the hidden 2nd loop (= fighting Hibachi) In order to enter the hidden route in stage 1, you only need to meet the following conditions (Arcade mode): 1. destroy 3 silos (if the silos are destroyed by the tanks they don't count) 2. By the time that the third silo is destroyed, the hyper must be completely filled 3. no miss till you destroy the the third silo. For iphone mode, you only need to meet 1 and 3, you don't have to fill the hyper. You can also enter the hidden route when you successfully collect all bees with no miss in two consecutive stages. For example, if you failed to enter the hidden route in stage 1, but you've successfully collected all 2X7=14 bees in stage1 and 2, you will enter the hidden route from stage3. When you successfully enter the hidden route, you WILL STAY in the hidden route unless you furfill BOTH of the following conditions: 1. fail to collect all bees in the stage 2. Die or use bomb(s) before you defeat the mid-boss If BOTH of the conditions are met in one stage, you will be kicked out of hidden route from next stage. But as long as you can prevent either of them from happening, you'll be fine. These pieces of information (except for the iphone mode part which is summarized by myself) are translated from CAVE Dodonpachi Resurrection Official Guide, so their reliability are guaranteed. Trying to get the "Clear all modes with all ships" achievement, but even I all-cleared iphone mode with 4 ships and arcade mode with 3 ships X 3 modes=9 combinations (I even beat the 2nd loop with most of the ships), I still can't get the achievement. I hope it's not a bug or that you have to clear the 2nd loop with every ship/combination, that would be insane. PS: Some of My current Best score, ranking within top 10 in most mode. I really want to know how those guys chained so that they could get 10 times as much score as mine. iPhone mode Type C: 987 million Hibachi: 948 million Arcade mode Type A: Bomb 11.3 billion, Power 17.2 bil Type B: Bomb 19.5 bil, Power 19.4 bil, Strong 22.2 bil Type C: Bomb 17.7 bil, Power 17.2 bil, Strong 16.6 bil
Do you have to clear second loop in one credit too , to unlock Hibachi? Because I killed him using continues and was not able to unlock him~ Also, after beating the second loop, i still got the messege that i had beaten the first loop and could select music from options? ( I haven't updated my game since launch, is that causing the problem? ) I cannot beat the second loop in one credit ever No Hibachi for me then? D:
A green or yellow bee are both activated~ You can collect them. Only a translucent bee isn't activated, which you can activate by shooting the laser at it~ and what chexk03 says about the effects of collecting green and yellow bees are right
That's really weird, are you sure it's the hidden 2nd loop that you've completed? The secret final boss Hibachi is the small one that appears after you destroy the giant bee boss in the final stage. Technically, you don't have to clear the hidden 2nd loop in one credit. I also had continued for several times in the hidden 2nd loop but I still unlocked Hibachi in the end. The message shown was something like "Congratulations for completing the hidden 2nd loop, Hibachi now is selectable in iphone mode". I don't think it's the version that matters either. But still, just to be safe, maybe you should try to update then try beat the hidden 2nd loop again.
~ This fellow is Hibachi~ right? I am sure I killed Hibachi LOL XD I just read on cave's Twitter stream ~ This was an issue with the release version. Hopefully updating will help~ Just to be sure~ This fellow is Hibachi~ right?
Well, yes for sure, lol. So that was the issue with ealier versions? Good to know. Glad to hear that things work out for you
