If you are playing on easy setting the scores are not recorded. You have to turn this off to play the game on 'normal' setting starting on level 1a. Hope this helps
i am playing on normal and scores are recorded for levels, just default gc leaderboard says not ranked, so maybe it's for some specific level or it's a bug with gc in this game.
Hi eev, when I go to leaderboards from within the game it defaults to the overall total leaderboard? Is this what you get? Sorry for my bogus answer before, should have read the question properly - doh!
On another forum a member who has beaten Stage 5E says that he somehow unlocked a special stage in easy mode. In easy mode, in the 5E slot (which isn't present in easy mode, covered by a red blotch) you can select it and it takes you to a very difficult version of easy 5A, which he says corresponds to the Ura loop of Ketsui. Anyone have any ideas on how to unlock? I hope it's not just beating 5E, as I won't be able to do that for a while yet!
I found something interesting today. If you turn on the easy mode in the settings and reach 5A, you'll find that Spoiler the stage has enemies from Espgaluda, including the mid-boss and the final boss is the Stage-1 Ketsui boss!
Just have to unlock 5E thankfully. It's not anything like Ketsui's Ura loop afaik, just an E difficulty version of the same level. But I haven't played through it yet, just played for a sec after finding out about it a few minutes earlier. I posted about that a few days ago (and yes it's an awesome fan service level)
great game again from cave but some colors are too bright so t's more harder to dodge bullets than in previous cave games, i think someone already posted here about this kind of stuff.
All cave games get pretty hard especially on the harder settings. This game has the easy levels which are pretty easy, but you are right, the higher levels can get quite challenging.
I'm not sure that this does cause I don't have an ipod touch, but I would think the older sd versions of dodonpachi would all work on it. If not, try danmaku unlimited which looks very much like this game, or storm strikers. Also, space invaders infinity looks kind of like this game too. All are good solid games that are a little older that should support your device.
I have the iPod touch 5 and it won't even let me install it. Try out some of the non HD versions of Cave's games or Danmaku Unlimited as Connector suggested. Phoenix is free so you can try that too.
