You don't like Peter Capaldi? Go and sit in the corner and feel bad about yourself until you understand how wrong you are. Hey devs, thanks for being cool enough to stop by. Game looks cool, downloading it now. I will add my voice to those asking that it be completely playable offline. For context, I really love the Marvel Puzzle Quest game, but that has the same restriction. These are the kind of low stress games I like to play on my commute home from work if possible. When I get home, your game has to compete with my 5 other gaming devices, whereas on the train you have my full attention. Are Doctors 1-8 going to be appearing? You put Tom Baker in and I'm throwing money at any IAP options that you offer. Still the best Doctor.
Is there a way for me to link my ipad game to my iPod touch one? I like to play my ipad at home and my iPod on the go. If there isn't is there a way to restore in app purchases onto my ipad so that I can unlock the fan area on that aswell
Thanks! It's been the most requested feature (offline mode), including from me. So yes, it is in the works, it's just requiring some more testing as it impacts a number of different systems in the game. And of course you couldn't access the store or patch when offline....but yes, it's coming. We hear you. One note, for now you might just want to keep the app open but minimized if you're leaving wifi and keep playing.
fan area Oh and regarding fan area --- two more levels (both with difficulty modes) are live now in fan area! More to come asap.
I'm a huge Doctor Who fan but I can't download this game because it's unavailable in Guatemala. When will I be able to get it here? Please make it available here!
Great to hear about the offline mode. Are the game data SAVED LOCALLY on my device ONLY or are they ALWAYS UPLOADED to your server each time the app is opened and is connecting to your server? Obviously, the best solution is to give the player a CHOICE on whether or not to use your cloud service (with a setting in the option). This way, I can play the game at my own pace, until the game runs out of levels and requires the new update, at which time I can briefly connect online again to get the new levels to continue to play offline. This is the best of both worlds.
This would definitely be a desired feature... I also want to play on my iphone while mobile, and on my Ipad at home.
Not sure if this got an answer somewhere along the thread yet but... When's this releasing worldwide? To PH specifically.
I like Dr.Who but this game is formulaic and generic. No creativity at all in terms of offering something new. Just because it a branded with Dr.Who does not mean it is automatically great. I just don't like it.
I like it. It has some elements that do set it apart from other gem swapping games, such as costumes, leveling up your characters instead of feeding them other cards, and there is no energy system to stop you you from playing. If you buy or acquire crystals through gameplay you will not draw the same character twice, which has greatly annoyed me in other puzzle games. I think it's def worth trying out if you like gem swapping puzzle RPGs and/or Dr. Who.
As noted by others probably this game requires wifi on startup. Otherwise I'd have played it tonight. 3G doesn't work at all for some reason. Though it didn't have a problem grabbing an update when I launched it. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
I agree, but it isn't enough for me. I've played several of these specific type of match 3 games and they all do the same things. I put a few hours into it and finally got bored. I'm glad you are enjoying it though.
Can someone explain to me the advantage of having ALL of the companions slots filled for a mission? The MORE companions you use, the LESSER the chance you will have creating long strings of matches, since there are MORE color combos to deal with. I have found by limiting the number of companions to about 3, you strike a best balance to increase maximally your chance of getting a 4- or 5-orb hits and multiple combos.
Only had this game for a day and it's completely overtaken my Candy Crush addiction. Love the artwork, the music, and the fact that I don't have to keep sneakily adjusting my tablet's date/time settings to get more energy. I'm finding that character drops can take quite a long time, but I need to level grind River Song anyway so I don't mind that too much. I have to admit though, I'm mostly looking forward to the inclusion of the older Doctors and their companions!
